In the heart of Willamette Valley AVA and on a breezy 20-acre lot of land we provide a space for you to set yourself up and enjoy life's natural bounty. We offer a small shared space with a wood fire stove and some essential items, many games (such as horseshoes), and lots of picnic areas and tables sprinkled throughout the property. The location is central and half an hour to just minutes away from water bodies Hagg Lake, Nestucca River, Yamhill River, little Niagara Falls, Mill Creek, Baker Creek, Rainbow Lake and more… Such as the Carlton public pool. If your looking to jaunt from camp a little further, we are located a little over an hour and a beautiful drive to the Pacific Coast and about an hour from Portland.
Although in the middle of the country woods, we are surprisingly only two and a half miles from the adorable and quaint town of Carlton. So beside the views, you’ll be alongside some fantastic eateries and outstanding winemakers.
Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty.

The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. There are two family homes on the property with people who truly admire this land!
With the work of these past couple seasons, and thanks to our fellow campers, we have been able to lay more gravel, get a more fluid bathroom situation established, and lay out a few more sites!
So thank you for your continued support in this venture and in any form, I’m excited to be apart of your adventure and hope to have you in our neck of the woods soon!

Relaxation and privacy in nature await! Our tipi is a 18' Handcrafted Sioux Tipi incorperating 4 raised sleeping cots. There is also a zip bell tent with 2 raised sleeping cots. Yaquina Bend camp can accommodate 6 campers in all. The camp is 2 acres along the Yaquina River headwaters in the coastal hills, surrounded by forest and valley praries.
The fire pit includes a grill and seats so no need to pack chairs. Beach access along the Yaquina River is great for swimming and innertubing in the summer. We have some advanced terrain please use the rope to assist you in getting into the water.
Only 20 minutes from the Newport, this camp can make a great home base for day trips to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Yaquina-Bend is the perfect place to relax, connect with nature, and spend quality time with friends and family.

Our stay at the Stargazer was amazing. It was such a unique and peaceful getaway. The place is surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and set right in the middle of a wide open field, offering privacy and incredible views in every direction. The setting felt calm and magical, especially at night when the sky filled with stars.
The space was cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the quiet beauty of nature. It’s the ideal spot to unwind, recharge, and enjoy true peace and solitude. We loved every minute and can’t wait to come back.

What a beautiful property and place to stay! Last-minute overnight getaway opportunity presented, and the bell tent and stargazing caught our eye. So glad it did!
The tent is outfitted perfectly for light cooking, relaxing, and deep sleeping, and there were plenty of shady spots to put the lawn chairs during the heat of the afternoon. The down bedding was just the right weight for the cool night, and the gentle solar lights allowed us to play a few rounds of Uno in the tent before bed. The morning percolator coffee service was the icing of our experience.
There is a “glass house” filled with games and activities from your childhood including badminton and bow&arrows. The driveway and parking were easy to manage in our AWD. The long driveway had a lot of berries for nibbling and was a perfect length to walk before dusk. The porta potty was sparkling clean and just a short walk away.
The only thing we needed to bring was a cooler and our toothbrushes. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!

It was great exploring the Oregon Coast, and then having our own private sanctuary, where the dogs could be off-leash in a contained environment. Unlike the crowded State Campgrounds on the Coast.

This spot definitely was a gem! Very quiet and private :) the kids loved the room to run and play, especially in the river. We were able to use our paddle boards to explore. The outdoor kitchen was one of the best features. We brought our small RV and we were able to cook and do dishes outside, which is a plus because it can get quite crowded in the RV at times. The string lights were a great addition for the evening s'more time!

Wonderful site. Very comfortable and well supplied. However, swimming is not good due to late summer water stagnation. Nevertheless, we loved sitting around the pond and listening to the bull frogs, watching the blue dragon flies, and even saw a Great Blue Heron! Lovely retreat

We had a fantastic time at this spot! Everything was provided. I especially loved the teepee and bell tent. The provided cot was plenty cozy. The compost toilet was clean and kept up. It's right on a road, but very few cars came by in the four days we were there. The river was a great escape from the heat. I highly recommend this spot!

Hollie’s hip camp is well stocked in a beautiful area. The teepee and canvas tent held several cots to sleep on. The site was very clean and well thought out. The river is very clear about waste high in most areas, deep enough to float. Even though it is right off of the highway the traffic is very light and was not noisy. I would definitely recommend this site.

The Hideout puts glam in glamping 💯 Staying at the Hideout was such a cool experience. It is so pristine in nature with all the modern conveniences: a beautiful waterfall shower head and modern fixtures, twinkle lights surrounding the area, wild berries, spring-fed pond and lily pad for swimming, gas grill and stovetop overlooking the trees, super comfy bed looking up to the stars. Camping will never be the same.

This campsite was so much better than our wildest expectations for ladies' weekend retreat! The yurt was spacious, yet cozy, and there was a fan to circulate air which kept it very comfortable inside even in 90 degree temps. The beds were extremely comfortable and we appreciated the water and coffee station. We loved the outdoor cooking area, and the shower/ bathroom was a nice as any hotel I've stayed in. The night time was peaceful and it was delightful to listen to the frogs croak. We enjoyed swimming in the pond during the day and lounging in the hammock amongst the trees. We're already planning a return trip. What a magical place and so convenient to get to from Portland.

Weekend Trip to Celestine Fields
Celestine fields was a great get away for my partner and I even on a cold rainy weekend. We were able to relax while still staying connected. This really gave us novice campers the ability to camp in the elements without have to worry. I'm sure this property is even more incredible in the Summer! I could definitely see myself coming back!
