Four Directions Retreat

Come relax and enjoy the amazing energy at Four Directions Retreat. We offer beautiful and shaded campsites and a tiny cabin that will be sure to please. We also have an amazing outdoor stage nestled at the bottom of a natural amphitheater that is perfect for a variety of entertaining needs. When not playing corn hole, disc golf or other yard games, our friendly little goats are known for putting on a show of their own just to get loves and scratches from our guests. Our beautiful property features a healthy 45+ year old Douglas Fir forest and a spacious meadow which is stunning in the spring with wild grasses and beautiful flowers. During the summer, you can take a break from the heat and relax amongst the huge ferns, Fir, Alder and Cedar trees and enjoy a variety of delicious berries found all over the property. You may also want to stretch your legs and take a leisurely walk along some of the old logging roads or give yourself a push along a forested hiking trail. Using mostly reclaimed materials, we built a stage great for entertainment (concerts, weddings, movie nights, etc... ), an outdoor event kitchen, and most importantly - the three composting outhouses strategically located to best accommodate our guest's basic needs. We also have a gorgeous Bathhouse available for a nominal fee to recoup the costs of waste disposal. Check out our 4D Full Property Booking if you are planning an event and would like a private place to host your celebration, gathering, or concert. Caterers love the outdoor event kitchen! We are happy to answer your questions and share our experiences with large events to help with your decision making process. The 4D Tiny Cabin includes a large space with a basic camp kitchen, fire pit, picnic table and space for a few tents (depending on size) for additional family or friends. We have 12 traditional camp sites that include picnic tables and fire pits that are spaced well apart to provide more privacy than you would ever get at a standard county, state or federal campground. Important to know: 1) A handful of the camp sites can accommodate up to 24 foot in length RV's and trailers pulled by a 4x4, camper vans, or trucks with campers. 2) Please reach out to us if you have additional questions about which sites would be best and why we insist on having a 4x4 pulling a trailer. 3) Also, overloaded minivans also have difficulties making it up the hill, but we can help. If that isn't enough, we are located close to many areas of interest. If you like disc golf, Trojan Park is only 8 minutes away. You can also jump in the water at a several County Parks along the mighty Columbia River which are about 10 minutes away. You can also take a dip in the picturesque Beaver Falls, a stunning 20-minute drive through the country followed by a short hike. If adventure "on the water" is more your thing, then you can always take a kayak around Scappoose Bay which is a 30-minute drive from 4D. This 40 Acre parcel has been in my family since the 1870's when my Great^4 grandparents homesteaded it. For the first 50 years or so, It was used as a hay field and cattle pasture, but it has been managed as a tree farm ever since and we are still doing periodic selective harvests. It was handed down through the paternal family to my Great Uncle, who passed away in 2013 and deeded it to my 2nd cousin in the will. My Dad and I bought it from my cousin, who lives in Arizona, together. Then my Wife and I bought my Dad out with our share of the profits from our first commercial thinning.Although I plan to do some minor harvesting in the future, I no longer intend to do any clearcutting. Selective harvests only. I hope that campers will make ample use of windfalls and other debris to keep the fire risk low. I also use the property as a release site for wildlife caught as part of my urban nuisance wildlife business.

We are offering up a few areas on our property for clean, friendly, quiet campers that want to get out of the city and enjoy some peace and quiet. We are located in Banks, Oregon. We are approximately 45 minutes west of downtown Portland. Our camping area is about 5 acres and offers something for everyone. If you have a large RV and need a safe and quiet spot to stay for the night, we got you. We have a large fire pit, Adirondak chairs, a large picnic table, and a swing set for the kids. Badminton and cornhole available on request. Family get-togethers or birthday parties are welcome! We are located just 1.5 miles from The Banks-Vernonia Trail. Bike campers are welcome! Feel free to bring along your 4-legged friends as well. We do not have a fence, so if you do not trust your dog of a leash, please keep them tied up. We have a lot of deer that pass through and untrained dogs love chasing them. Banks has a few restaurants to choose from: Subway, Dairy Queen, Main Street Pizza, Mary's Mexican Food, Hop-Cycle Brewing to name a few. There is also a Supermarket in town just in case you forgot your S'mores supplies or Spirits. We are about 20 minutes away from McMenamins Grand Lodge, in Forest Grove, which hosts some great live concerts during the summer. We have a few fishing spots within about 30 minutes of the property. Hagg lake, Horning's Hideout, Dorman's Pond and the Wilson River are all popular spots. We have clean well water and 50A electrical hookups. We do not offer dumping of black water, but you can empty your tank at the Elks club in Forest Grove (25-minute drive) for free or Camping World over in Hillsboro. I don't mind if you drain your gray water on the property as long as you use a longer hose to keep it away from the immediate camping area. The parking area for RV's is fairly level and easy to get in and out of. During the late summer we have 5 producing apple trees, 2 plum trees, and a lot of blackberries. Feel free to pick what you would like. Currently, we do not have any public bathroom facilities available for campers, so please plan accordingly. There is a public bathroom at the "Manning Trailhead" about 1.5 miles away. Please feel free to ask me any questions, we are willing to make accommodations for special situations/events if possible!

Pretty Beachin Camp

Our beachin camp is located on the Longbeach, Washington Peninsula. It's a dry camp, for now. It's less than a half mile to the ocean. We have four sites available. Each site has a cute cinder block firepit. Its perfect for RV's or tent sites. As you turn onto the property you will be met with a gate. To identify the correct property you will see two small brick pillars at the entrance. Please be sure the keep the gate closed when not in use. Upon entering the gate, our campsites are located along the LEFT-hand side and are distinguishable by the 4 built-in block firepits. (Please note: the campsites along the right-hand side that are nearest to the cell tower are not operated by us.) Pack out what you pack in. All trash must be removed at check out. Jack's Country Store offers garbage drop off for a small fee. There is a small park with a restroom located a couple blocks away that is usually open for public use. Creekside Forest Bike Trails and RV

Just 1.5 hours from Seattle, Portland, Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, & Olympic National Park, just 1 minute from Rainbow Falls State Park and 10 minutes from Willapa Biking Trail Head! We are located on top of Bunker Hill nestled between the Dunn creek and Chehalis river. Our property is 54 acres of mixed biomes including old forests, open meadows, and creek side trails. We are located right off Chandler Road, off of Highway 6. You turn right onto Labri road and you're on the property after going through a gate. Through the second gate, the dispersed camping site offers various sites for camping attached to a main trail that parallels the Dunn creek down to the Chehalis river. They are conveniently accessible off the logging roads which cross with Labri road after you've passed through the second gate. If you take the logging road to the left you will come up to a tree line where you can park and either take the trail to the left or right where you will find ample places to camp. You may camp along the trail or closer to the creek. There are four RV spots with full onsite hook-up. Two of the RV sites are paved and lit with ground lights and are prioritized for heavier rigs. The other two sites are on grass. We do not allow dumping of grey water or sewage at our property but there is a dump station just 1 minute away at Rainbow Falls State Park. We have two sites with no hookup as well but they don't currently have signs. The site is located on a hill so you get very nice view of sunsets and sunrises. For those who enjoy bird watching the nearby fruit trees bring in many birds. We are an ideal location for those who love the outdoors or just want to have private family events. 6 mi from Jones Creek Brewing, 7 mi from Evey's Cafe & Pe Ell, 20 mi from I-5, 69 mi Westport

Badminton and cornhole available on request. Family get-togethers or birthday parties are welcome! We are located just 1.5 miles from The Banks-Vernonia Trail. Bike campers are welcome! Feel free to bring along your 4-legged friends as well. We do not have a fence, so if you do not trust your dog of a leash, please keep them tied up. We have a lot of deer that pass through and untrained dogs love chasing them. Banks has a few restaurants to choose from: Subway, Dairy Queen, Main Street Pizza, Mary's Mexican Food, Hop-Cycle Brewing to name a few. There is also a Supermarket in town just in case you forgot your S'mores supplies or Spirits. We are about 20 minutes away from McMenamins Grand Lodge, in Forest Grove, which hosts some great live concerts during the summer. We have a few fishing spots within about 30 minutes of the property. Hagg lake, Horning's Hideout, Dorman's Pond and the Wilson River are all popular spots. We have clean well water and 50A electrical hookups. We do not offer dumping of black water, but you can empty your tank at the Elks club in Forest Grove (25-minute drive) for free or Camping World over in Hillsboro. I don't mind if you drain your gray water on the property as long as you use a longer hose to keep it away from the immediate camping area. The parking area for RV's is fairly level and easy to get in and out of. During the late summer we have 5 producing apple trees, 2 plum trees, and a lot of blackberries. Feel free to pick what you would like. Currently, we do not have any public bathroom facilities available for campers, so please plan accordingly. There is a public bathroom at the "Manning Trailhead" about 1.5 miles away. Please feel free to ask me any questions, we are willing to make accommodations for special situations/events if possible!

Four Directions Retreat

Come relax and enjoy the amazing energy at Four Directions Retreat. We offer beautiful and shaded campsites and a tiny cabin that will be sure to please. We also have an amazing outdoor stage nestled at the bottom of a natural amphitheater that is perfect for a variety of entertaining needs. When not playing corn hole, disc golf or other yard games, our friendly little goats are known for putting on a show of their own just to get loves and scratches from our guests. Our beautiful property features a healthy 45+ year old Douglas Fir forest and a spacious meadow which is stunning in the spring with wild grasses and beautiful flowers. During the summer, you can take a break from the heat and relax amongst the huge ferns, Fir, Alder and Cedar trees and enjoy a variety of delicious berries found all over the property. You may also want to stretch your legs and take a leisurely walk along some of the old logging roads or give yourself a push along a forested hiking trail. Using mostly reclaimed materials, we built a stage great for entertainment (concerts, weddings, movie nights, etc... ), an outdoor event kitchen, and most importantly - the three composting outhouses strategically located to best accommodate our guest's basic needs. We also have a gorgeous Bathhouse available for a nominal fee to recoup the costs of waste disposal. Check out our 4D Full Property Booking if you are planning an event and would like a private place to host your celebration, gathering, or concert. Caterers love the outdoor event kitchen! We are happy to answer your questions and share our experiences with large events to help with your decision making process. The 4D Tiny Cabin includes a large space with a basic camp kitchen, fire pit, picnic table and space for a few tents (depending on size) for additional family or friends. We have 12 traditional camp sites that include picnic tables and fire pits that are spaced well apart to provide more privacy than you would ever get at a standard county, state or federal campground. Important to know: 1) A handful of the camp sites can accommodate up to 24 foot in length RV's and trailers pulled by a 4x4, camper vans, or trucks with campers. 2) Please reach out to us if you have additional questions about which sites would be best and why we insist on having a 4x4 pulling a trailer. 3) Also, overloaded minivans also have difficulties making it up the hill, but we can help. If that isn't enough, we are located close to many areas of interest. If you like disc golf, Trojan Park is only 8 minutes away. You can also jump in the water at a several County Parks along the mighty Columbia River which are about 10 minutes away. You can also take a dip in the picturesque Beaver Falls, a stunning 20-minute drive through the country followed by a short hike. If adventure "on the water" is more your thing, then you can always take a kayak around Scappoose Bay which is a 30-minute drive from 4D.
