Oologah! It’s a cool word, and also an awesome park! Oolagah Lake is especially popular with boaters. There are 14 boat launches here, and a full-service marina. The lake is great for sailboats—you can catch some wind on the wide stretches of water. Anglers, cast a line for the sand bass, catfish, hybrid striped bass, crappie, and walleye. There are two sandy swimming beaches here, so take a dip in the refreshing waters, or just stretch out on a towel and enjoy the scenery. Don’t forget your sunscreen! There are lots of hiking trails to choose from. Check out Will Rogers Country Centennial Trail. It’s an 18-mile trail that winds along the shoreline, through woodland and open meadow. Keep your eyes open and camera ready for wildlife and great water views. The foliage is especially beautiful in the autumn. Don’t forget to share your best shots with us!

Weekend Trip to Three Ponds Community
my gf and i loved the little cabin we stayed in and everything else about the land. the animals were so cute and we especially loved spooky. he made sure we were always safe and he kept us company. the hot tub was so relaxing after a long day and it’s so convenient that the shower is right by it. it also helps that the owners are so nice and always quick to respond. overall everything was 10/10 and we can’t wait to come back!

It was lovely land and such cozy accomodations. Joe was very responsive to me in the app, and accommodated our needs. We loved taking a hike around the trails on the land, and would love to take advantage of the outdoor shower next time we visit when it's warmer!

My stay at Joe's property was highly satisfactory. I particularly appreciated the accommodations and the scenic views. The cabin was equipped with both cooling and heating units, neither of which proved necessary during my visit. While I initially had reservations about the shower due to the occasional low temperatures in the 40s, it performed surprisingly well. The water temperature was consistently sufficient to counteract the cooler weather conditions.I would certainly recommend another stay here.

Creek side cabin was perfect for us! Wonderful community, secluded cabin, and friendly people and animals. Hailey was kind enough to spend the morning with us and share some amazing cacao while we meditated. Highly recommend!
Also close to several hiking trails in the ancient forest.

We stayed at the honeysuckle site and it was perfect! The site was about 75 feet from the parking area and they also have carts that you can borrow to get all your stuff to the site. The trails were perfect for my 4 year old and he made friends with Spooky, the resident dog! We followed Spooky as he excitedly showed us around all the parts of the trail. The campsite was very quiet and we couldn't hear or see any other campers around us. We will definitely be back and we'll bring friends! My son won't stop talking about how much he misses Spooky!

The space was well set up, path are clearly marked, and information was communicated clearly from the host. Getting to the tent site location is not for the faint of heart, though is very doable if you are willing and able, just be ready to put in some sweat equity pulling the cart they provided. I would estimate the trek back up to the parking spot from the tent site, with the cart fully loaded with gear, was about 12 to 15 minutes with several pauses to catch my breath.
Environment was beautiful and the smell of cedar was very pungent. Plenty of wildlife to behold when pausing to notice. Amenities were clean and in good working order. Outdoor shower had nice hot water! Thank you for allowing me to share your sweet place.

The whole experience was just outstanding! Open line of communication from start to finish, the hospitality, and being able to have rented the camping location at such a short notice and for as dirt cheap as it was! My girlfriend and I loved and appreciated the every second of it. And especially since this was my girlfriend's first time ever camping. We've already discussed plans for our next little getaway there, as we ABSOLUTELY will be returning.

People who run the place are awesome and super friendly. The people who camp there are as well. My girlfriend and I enjoyed every second of our stay! The showers were definitely an attractive outdoorsy experience. Campsites all were kept up with, the your was informative. I can't comment on the lake, I didn't take the time to see it sadly but I bet that is well worth it. We had all the privacy we needed. Already recommended the place to family and friends out on the east coast!
