What ever your needs or preference we have a spot for you! We have easy access to two main highways with the nearest Walmart 10 minutes away, not to mention great cell phone coverage for all the main providers at most locations on the property.
A little bit about how we started. Like most of us, we were in desperate need of a place to get away from the bustle and grind of daily life, to slow down, decompress, and destress. This land the universe had waiting for us, gave us just that! It changed our lives and now we are excited to open up this sanctuary to others who share our passion for the great outdoors! Interestingly, each year we find out more about our home, from its Native American prehistory, to its 19th century Civil War conflict, and most recently, a lost article published in the 1940s in the local Oklahoman gazette that enticingly gossips about long lost Buried Treasure!

A great experience - again! Such beautiful land, and we were able to explore into the back areas as well. The composting toilet is a great amenity, as is the new flush toilet and shower! Ash made sure we knew of things close by for entertainment as well as to keep cool, such as the Cushing water park. Although we got hit with a good thunderstorm, Ash also made sure we were alright and let us know what to do in case the weather turned truly dangerous. Overall, Star Valley Acres is a great spot for tent camping, especially with young kids who like to run around :) We will definitely be back again in the fall!

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The place is beautiful, with incredible outdoor spaces and great hiking areas. Since the property is gated, it felt very safe.
Our dome was comfortable and generally clean, although the refrigerator could have been cleaner. The shower area was also clean and well maintained. The restroom facilities could use some improvement in terms of cleanliness, but they were not bad.
The main concern during our stay was finding ticks. We found ticks not only around the property but also on our bodies and on some of the furniture, which made us paranoic. This was especially concerning because we were traveling with two small children and had to be extra cautious throughout our stay. We understand that this is a nature-based camping/glamping experience, but it might be helpful for management to consider additional pest control or fumigation measures to help reduce it.
Despite this issue, we still enjoyed our stay. The location, the outdoor spaces, and the overall experience were excellent. We would recommend this place, particularly for families who enjoy nature and outdoor activities.

What a hidden GEM! We were needing a place to stay the same night, I found Laura's land and booked it not really knowing what to expect...but it was only for a night while passing through and boy oh boy were we amazed! When we pulled on to the property and entered through the beautiful gates, then drove slowly down the lane toward the camping are...we were taken aback by the quiet beauty! We had a fantastic stay at The Pond at Hedges Holler. Randi was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process.
The campsite itself was amazing—a beautiful little pond, a great fire pit, and a quiet, serene setting that made it easy to relax and unwind. It was much more enjoyable than a public campground where you never know who might end up camping right next to you.
One of the nicest touches was arriving to find the fire pit already stocked with kindling and firewood. That small detail made for an incredible evening sitting around the campfire without having to worry about gathering or hauling wood.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, private camping experience, I highly recommend The Pond at Hedges Holler. We’ll definitely be back.

This is such a great spot!
I chose the primitive campsite, I was able to hike or drive in. There were trees that worked for my hammock tent, a clearing and pit for a fire and a cute trail to walk. The property is very peaceful and well kept.
Atlas, the grounds dog, was such a sweet boy and walked me to my campsite and hung out until I got set up.
Owner is very kind and answered any questions I had. I had plenty of privacy and felt safe on the grounds.
As we are entering the summer season, understandably there were a lot of ticks, so be sure to load up on bug/tent spray.
Property is located about 20 minutes from Walmart, so you can pick up any supplies if needed.
Will definitely visit again and highly recommend!
