My location is about 8 miles due west of the little town of Caney, Oklahoma. I’m very rural, no close neighbors, 19 acres of pasture and woods. Plenty of places to park, one area is back in the woods a bit with water and 50 amp service, others strictly boondocking. There’s not much “close” to me but I’m kind of centrally located between Atoka, Texoma and McGee lakes. Boggy depot state park and Fort Washita is close by and south of me is the Choctaw Casino. It’s very quiet and no nighttime lights so there’s an awesome night sky. Please check out the map I've included in my photos for precise directions. The last 2.5 miles to get to my house is by gravel road and my entrance may be a bit difficult to spot but my name and address is on the big black mailbox. Just turn in and cross the cattle guard and go through the driveway into the open field. Parking is on the north side of the drive along the tree line or back in the woods. Don’t hesitate to contact me directly for directions. If you follow my guidance, you should have no problem finding me or turning into my drive. Pets are welcome but I suggest they remain on a leash if you’re around my house or other campers and please clean up after them. The open field around my house is not always mowed because my neighbor cuts the hay and I like the spring wildflowers. I try to keep a walking path around my place but I travel too so at times it may not be well maintained. Since I do travel a lot, I may not be home when you arrive. Please make yourself at home and leave the place as you found it. Thank you!

The surrounding space affords a private setting. A great place for events including weddings, family reunions and more intimate gatherings. The tiny cabin is rustic but functional. Although there is no kitchen, it has a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. The shower is small and can only be used for quick showers. However, the environment and views make the spot great for relaxing and enjoying nature.

Primitive camping on 35 acres of big trees and rocks. Secluded spots with level, cleared areas are available for tent campers and parking. Park near main road and camp close to your vehicle. Or park and pack down deeper into the woods for a wilderness adventure. Follow a wildlife path or blaze your own trail. The property has sloped and shelved areas. Several options are available for vehicle access. Busses, smaller campers, and vans may choose pull in locations with option to stay hitched or park separately. Stayed at Dave’s Hideout for five days and loved it. Beautiful spot. Tons of stars at night, peaceful, and you can hear and see plenty of wildlife. The grass smelled amazing after the rain. You’re far enough out to feel secluded but can still see other campers in the distance. Dave is also an amazing and kind host. 10/10

Jeana had great communication! She answered all my questions leading up to our reservation. She also gave me lots of great information about the campsite and what was available or what we would need to bring ourselves. Although we did not get to stay at her place in the end, which was entirely on our end, we do plan on doing so in the future. We were absolutely happy with Jeana, her communication, information provided, questions answered and her follow up.

I had an amazing time staying here. Things didn't work out how I planned, due to the weather. The host was extremely helpful and verg accomodating with the changes. But it was a beautiful place with an amazing view. It's still a bit of a work in progress, but I'm excited to see when it's all done. Me and Vincent very much enjoyed our stay. 😊😊
