Pop's Place, Moose Cabin, was fantastic as were the hosts, Ed and Michelle! The cabin was pristine, clean, warm, and very well maintained. Michelle and Ed are very responsive to messages and are continuously improving camp. Although it rained all four days, we still had a great time and appreciated the hosts recommendations for rainy day activities. The shower was an added bonus and was pleasantly warm. I hope to return in the future! Thanks Ed and Michelle!

I really enjoyed my stay. Ed and Michelle are wonderful hosts. They possessed positive vibes and a welcoming spirit. The space was sufficient and peaceful. I look forward to another stay.

We had a great time at the Bear Cabin. It was clean and comfortable…just the right amount of “creaturely comforts” (beds, heat, bathroom, coffee pot, fridge) for a pleasant stay while maintaining a similar feel to camping. The location was very quiet and peaceful. Just as advertised.

Such a beautiful and inviting space! The cabin is adorable and very comfy. I loved watching the ducks in the morning. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Owners Chuck and Amanda moved from Northern California and re-established their rescue here in Central Ohio. We have two finished studio cabins. They are very close (2 miles) to the town of Mount Vernon, OH with hiking trails on the property. Pets are allowed but there are free range animals on the property so their safety is priority. We have added a 2 acre fenced in area for dogs off leash. It's our version of a Dog Park. Plenty of bike trails around town and only 20 miles to Mohican State Park. Farm fresh eggs from our rescued chickens and local honey are available for purchase. Money from our vacation rental helps with feeding our rescue animals and expanding our non-profit animal sanctuary.

Chickens, pigs, goats, cows, and turkeys are all raised out doors in a way that regenerates the soil and creates beauty across the landscape. 45 minutes from Columbus, Ohio! We sit 7 minutes off of I-71 just outside of Fredericktown, Ohio, but we never hear the highway. Our farm makes the perfect weekend escape from the big city or a great big breath of fresh air for the traveler coming by! We have a couple of sites to choose from. We have a grassy field with lots of privacy right off the road. We also have a flat gravel drive for larger vehicles or during wet times. Come enjoy a slice of Central Ohio heaven with us! Please do not book same day bookings after 9pm.
