We had a great time! We have trouble finding spots for winter camping and this space was great. We actually forgot our tent poles so the trip could have needed a lot of adapting- but with the access to the barn, we were able to set up inside. Facilities & amenities were clean & as described. Loved watching the animals in the morning and setting up my hammock back by the chickens. Allison was a fantastic host. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great spot located right by CVNP. We enjoyed the campfire and laughed every time a goat would remind us we weren’t alone by sneezing. Even though the sun set early and the cool fall air filled the night we had fun. The barn was a nice surprise and good location for a small party. Woke up in the middle of the night to pee (very clean port-a-potty) and the stars were so clear and bright!

Weekend Trip to Goat Farm Hide-Away CVNP

Safe, quiet and level. But with all the goats and chickens and turkeys…it was wonderful to spend time with the animals. Several are comfort goats and we were invited to go into the pen and enjoy their curiosity and interest and individual personalities. Who knew? First rate experience. Highly recommend.

Very cool place! Nice bonfire area, pond to explore all the frogs, and quiet! Close to all the hikes at Cuyahoga and easy drive to Blossom Music Center! Hosts are welcoming and communicative :)

2 nights at Bill S. and Nancy's property

We parked our short bus at the hill top and had the most RESTFUL stay with Bill and Nancy. No one else had booked the weekdays we stayed and it was such a treat to enjoy the sounds of turkeys, birds, and gentle rain all to ourselves. Having the flushable toilet on site was wonderful (rare to find). The hilltop felt private as could be. We enjoyed fires for 2 nights with the bundle provided, and there was still a bit left. Pokeberries abundant for painters! Bill and Nancy are kind, considerate, and have a lovely kept home and property. We were beside ourself with the peace we felt during our stay and will definitely try to stop back on our way home. There's a rifle range in the distance but for a person who struggles with PTSD, the sounds were few and far between, and distant. For as many stays as I've come across this, it was entirely manageable 🩷 appreciation to bill for the heads up when we arrived/met.

1 night at Sweet Hill

Jason and Marcie's place was practically perfect! I was in town for a concert and needed a place nearby the casino to rest and begin following day exploring CVNP. It's peaceful and roomy, but still within a few minutes of restaurants, retail , etc if you need to run an errand. Marcie greeted me shortly after arrival and made sure I knew where everything was. She answered all my questions and was ok with me coming back late after the show. I was the only Hipcamper that night so I had the whole place to myself!
