This HipCamp is only 10 minutes from campus. It is a great option for visiting the college without having to pay crazy hotel prices! Also, the host is fabulous. This past weekend was so wet that our camper ended up getting a little stuck. Ed, the host, offered to let us leave it until it dries out or pull us out! He is so helpful and accommodating. Cannot recommend this option enough!

Peaceful night’s sleep and wonderful host. He was planting trees while we were there which will offer more privacy and sound dampening from road in the future - but we were not bothered by the cars driving by. We also enjoyed a short walk across to the Hocking River. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved staying at their family campground. We were the only Campers for the weekend. Beautiful fall scenery . Quiet and peaceful. Lots to do around the area. Checked out Burr Oak State Park. Thanks for Hosting Us.

Sunnyvale Farm est. 1949 - is a 240 acre tree and grain farm nestled in the foothills of Southeast Ohio and situated along the Hocking River. Almost 200 acres of the farm is forested with many changes in elevation. This is a great place to sit back and relax or use as a base camp for your exploration of nature. Just 3 minutes from the Bailey mountain bike trails and the Hockhocking Adena bikeway. We are also 30 minutes from the Hocking Hills or 15 minutes from Strouds Run State Park and if you are a little more adventurous, you are welcome to hike the farm with many uphill climbs or an easier hike to see the little grotto. If going into town is more your speed, Athens is a few minutes away and you can be on the campus of Ohio University in less than 10 minutes without having to leave paved roads.

We are just 5 miles from "The Wilds." Visit their website to learn about their ziplining, horse back riding and safari tours. It is a great place to visit and they are in Cumberland, Ohio.
