Our beautiful 1800’s cabin was moved to the property in the 1970’s by a former neighbor who owned the property at the time. The same neighbor also had a historic train depot moved to the property where she sold antiques out of for several years. It is not sure what the cabin was used for at that time but it certainly added charm to the antique store property. When we acquired the property years later, the cabin was in need of work. It sat for a few years until we decided to restore this lovely cabin back to it’s beautiful charm and character. Jim spent a couple years on the project working in his free time and added the porch using old wood in keeping with the natural look and feel of the cabin as well as some interior areas. Upon completion, we opened the cabin as a gift shop selling unique items including antiques, primitives and decor for a few years. We decided to transition the cabin into a place of retreat for traveling guests and still keep some of the goods we sold in the shop available for purchase. We hope that you find the cabin and property a place of peace and tranquility and will want to return. Very good friendly host, clean well maintained camp sites, little more highway noise then expected, but the ceiling fan drowned it all out. Would stay again. Thanks Curtis and Michelle !!

We had a great time staying at Harbour park. The site was awesome, private and secluded. Tim had full hookups available making it super convenient. It was a great break from our busy trip just sitting and relaxing next to the river drinking coffee watching the rowing crews and boats go by. We would definitely stay again and have already recommended others to stay there.

Weekend Trip to Camp Rocky Run

This site was great. It has good access to the creek and it was perfect for the kids to plan in. There are two sites down by the creek and they share a fire pit. The fire pit is nice and paved, it is maybe a little precarious as it’s a steep drop off to the creek. But this was not an issue for us. I booked both sites hoping for privacy, but there was still other people with us both nights. This was not a big deal as they were friendly, but be warned.

If you’re looking for a relaxing and unique Hipcamp experience this is the place. The cabin is so cozy. The front porch is a perfect location to relax and read a book. They offer 30 and 50 amp hookups. The grounds were meticulously maintained. I will most certainly book again!

Weekend Trip to Artemis Gardens BnB

Lisa was great! Very kind, great communication, just all-around lovely person! Her place was sweet and welcoming - out in the country and away from the noise of the city, yet just a short drive to town, restaurants, stores, etc. She made wonderful breakfasts for us, as well as a special dessert for our anniversary - shaped in a heart! We definitely will be back and highly recommend her place!
