The roadfront side of our property offers level terrain for pull-behind trailers, while vehicles (preferably 4WD) and tent campers can travel all the way back to the creek. Feeling froggy? Ford the stream and camp in the large field on the other side. Be sure to mind the animals and fields, as this is a working farm.
One mile down the road from the farm is the Virginia Creeper Trail, renowned for biking, but as a multi-use trail, you can also enjoy walking, running, horseback riding, fishing, cross country skiing, and geocaching.
South Holston Lake is only minutes away by vehicle, with two public access boating ramps 10 to 20 minutes away.
For a drink by the water, head to Abingdon Vineyards- only 10 minutes away.
Access to the Appalachian Trail is only 20 minutes away in Damascus.
We became caretakers of this lovely property in June of 2021, moving from our existing farm, 45 minutes away. When we got it, it was a blank slate of a hayfield, and we have spent the summer laying infrastructure so that we may grow our cut-flower, honey, and vegetable business.

This property is 180 acres of woods and mountains with streams and ponds.
Beautiful settings. If you like hiking in the mountains this will definitely hit the spot. YO can fish in the ponds it has blue gills and catfish. I also added grass carp there as part of weed management.
This used to be an abandoned farm which I want to bring back to life.
The site offers three luxury large Safari Style Tents and 4 Pioneer wagons.
All tents are far away from each other to provide privacy and freedom of going Wild (still remaining civilized in your manners and careful attitude to Nature around you).
Tent 1 is in the Forrest itself and it is pretty cook and serene.
Tent 2 is on the top of a rocky hill overlooking the forest.
Tent 3 is the most remote and closest to the ponds. It has most of the open space around it, and can be a great place for parties.
We are working on making the sites and the area more comfortable, but I do not want to make it a manicured park. I want it to remain wild and still offer comfortable stay.
The farm is work in progress. Eventually it will be an Ostrich farm. and have other animals too.
The closest town - Lenoir is about 12 miles away . Closest Grocery store (Dollar General) - about 3 miles away. Closest Gas station - 2 miles away.
Professional Tennis court, Basketball court and large kids playground are in a public park within - 5 minute drive.
Lenoir has restaurants, shopping, etc.
Hickory is a larger town about 25 minutes drive. Hickory Lake is a large reservoir with marina where you can rent a boat and it also offers a good game fishing.

Weekend Trip to Longhope Mountain Glamping
My husband and I stayed for a long weekend getaway, and while we love to travel and airbnb all the time, we both agreed that this space was one of our most favorites! The cozy tent-cabin had every amenity we needed while being perfectly simple and romantic - even providing a handful of tea light candles and large glass holders that we graciously took advantage of. We appreciated all the blankets that had us snuggling up together in the cooler temps, as well as the gas heater on the colder night - and because it had doors like a tent on either side we were still able to enjoy breathe taking fall colors while relaxing inside (temperature allowing). The kitchen amenities were perfect for us - we love to cook and thoroughly appreciated the sink, dishware, and gas stovetop - as well as the smokeless fire pit. Everything was clean and exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely be back!

My family and I loved camping out at Sarah's tent. Great location next to wonderful hiking (Elk Knob) and close enough to downtown Boone/Blowing Rock to go grab food or shop. The tent itself was better than I could've asked for. It was clean, spacious and had most everything you'd need. In fact, we ended up bringing way too much stuff that we didn't need because Sarah already had it provided at the site.
Check in was super easy, Sarah met us at the end of the road and directed us up to where the site was. You would definitely need a 4x4 vehicle, but if you had to it wouldn't be too bad of a walk into the woods. The site itself was surrounded by large trees on the side of a hill with pretty great views through the trees. The leaves were starting to fall so we got to see the hills across the way. While at the site, it is super quiet and private. You feel very secluded with no nearby campsites. We especially loved this because when trying to book campsites at other spots, there is usually sites within view. You don't need to worry about that here, which was our favorite part about it.
I think this will be a spot we come yearly around fall to enjoy the leaves, hiking and cooler weather. We loved it! Thanks Sarah!!!

This little peace of Heaven was just what the doctor ordered. Sarah was very quick to respond to all questions and any needs that we had and she makes wonderful pottery. The pictures were exactly how it looked, peaceful and serene. And yes an AWD or 4 wheel drive is needed. We will definitely be back 🩵

Such a a Cool spot! Adil provided So many awesome helpful ways to ease the stay including chairs, hammock, grill, camping and fire supplies! The hike to tent from car parking was tough on my 4 year old but the tent was super secluded and peaceful so hence the walk. We tried to fish in the pond-caught a sunny first cast then nothing else but property is beautiful and if kids were more patient we could have fished longer. Cutting down some spots along water would be helpful for fishing. Had a great stay! Thanks again!

Weekend Trip to Stormbrew Farm
The site was easy to get to, yet quiet and private, down the hill from the rest of the farm. We sat on the platform and watched the sun set, then fireflies, and then a clear starry sky. Horses peeked over the fence in the morning. And with all this, a morning run to get some coffee took just 15 minutes. We'll happily come back.

Single lady just camping with her dog and we had a fabulous time. Very private and I felt safe, surrounded by trees. Unfortunately, it rained the entire time I was there and we had to hunker down for 24 hours, but we stayed completely dry and the campsite offered every amenity that we needed. Super comfortable. My only complaint is that the internet can be slow at times and I wasn’t always able to watch videos on my cell but I suppose the heavy rain could have also been effecting my reception. However, unless it’s pouring rain I imagine most people wouldn’t even be on their phone watching movies. There’s several nature related activities to do in the area and it is just a short drive to Boone and Blowing Rock. Pluto and I will definitely be back for more glamping fun.

Had such an amazing time on our recent gambling trip! The wagon tent made the journey itself feel special – it had everything we needed: comfy air conditioning, a handy fridge, and cozy lights that made the space feel so warm and inviting. The view along the way was stunning too – rolling hills, and plenty of photo-worthy moments.

Weekend Trip to Take a Hike on a Wild side! Camping
It was beautiful and accurate to the description. Definitely allowed us to connect with nature while still having some comforts. The only things that we can complain about is that tent 1 has a broken zipper along half of the entire length of the entrance. This can be a safety issue as well as allowing bugs in. Also, only half the string lights worked, and the ones that did flashed constantly the entire night, illuminating the tent even with the window flaps closed. These are two minor fixes that could make the place not only a better, safer stay, but a 10 out of 10 in our opinion.

Had a wonderful stay over 4th of July weekend at Rugby Creek, just a stone's throw from Grayson Highlands. Lodged in the "Neighbor" trailer at the top of the hill, cozy and private with a lovely overlook of the property. Owners are kind and accommodating; I highly recommend scheduling a tour of the property to meet all the animals and learn their stories, including the famous Fabio and Sadie, the sweetest mini donkey ever. All of the residents are clearly very happy and well cared for, and I basically had a private petting zoo all weekend. Would love to go back!
