Had such a fun time! Site was very private and away from all the hustle and bustle (couldn’t hear anything but nature). Host was attentive and brought us extra firewood :) property had well managed trails and our dogs enjoyed their off leash privileges. 10/10 would camp again!

Scott had fast response time. He was very nice! Feeding the chickens and goats was such a nice little addition! I have a 9,4,3,2 year old and let me tell you they had a blast. This was our first time camping and they were so good. We initially were just gonna spend one night but since they were so good we decided to stay another night. Luckily the night after wasn’t booked because he was booked up for the rest of that month. Our car also died because I was charging my phone and Scott quickly came to help us out! 10/10 stay

This was a great place to spend a couple of days. It's very easy to find, and its basically right off of the interstate. The truck stop at the exit is a Love's too, which is great since I try to stop at those across the country to get the gas discount. This is probably the only place I have ever stayed where they provided free firewood, which I really appreciated. Being in a camper van, I don't normally bring firewood because I would have to put it inside, and hosts (correctly) charge some fee if they have wood to provide. So, that was a great perk, and was much appreciated. Thank you!

This place was absolutely perfect! We had such a fun time camping, canoeing, and exploring the woods! The stars were gorgeous at night and we could hear the frogs and the barred owl calls. Couldn’t have asked for a better camping destination! We were able to drive right up to the camp site and had plenty of room to relax and explore.

The cabin was cozy and peaceful, by a nice little pond. Could use a bit more kitchen equipment like pots and pans, but otherwise sufficiently equipped. The heater worked great to keep us warm on cold evenings. My son loved seeing the beautiful horses and animals, and playing with the very friendly farm dogs who kept us company. George and their daughter were friendly and nice to chat to. Thank you for a fun stay on your beautiful farm!

We loved spending the weekend here! It was so peaceful, quiet, and private. It was easy to get to with clear instructions and signs leading you to the campsite. We loved using the canoe and fishing off the dock! Salem was a responsive, helpful, and kind host. I highly recommend staying here. We are hoping to come back in the summer!

Incredibly peaceful! Set in a hollow with a small pond next to it available to kayak (provided) & fish. Horses set up on the hillside. Plenty of other animals to enjoy as well. Hosts are perfectly welcoming & there if/when you need them. It offers the opportunity to unplug from the world and enjoy simple living with a touch of all the amenities you may need without the digital distractions...Splendidly perfect!

David's camping spot by the creek is absolutely charming! The picturesque setting next to the water creates a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The provided firewood was a fantastic bonus, especially since it was free—though it did take a bit of effort to light after a rainy night. We had the entire space to ourselves, but even if the other site were occupied, there’s plenty of room for privacy, so you won’t feel crowded. The only minor drawback was some background noise from the nearby interstate and occasional trains, but it wasn’t overly disruptive. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to disconnect and enjoy nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy creekside getaway!

Neal Creek Primitive camping by the creek is located on private property. The two large campsites are approximately 300 feet apart and are located right beside the running creek. Plenty of shaded area's. We have a 6-8 person tent available to rent as well! Learn more about this land: We are only 1/2 a mile from the Interstate 85. So bring your tents, campers or your small RV and come and setup down by the babbling creek. If you don't have or own a tent, we have a large 6-8 person tent available for a small rental fee too. Build a nice fire in the fire pit. The firewood and kindling is provided. The campsites are semi-wooded areas with plenty of shade. They are very large private, peaceful and quiet sites.  View the stars at night, play in the creek during the day or if you are into biking or hiking, go to the Overmountain Victory trail located about 15 minutes away and enjoy the 6.7 mile loop around Lake Whelchel right off I-85. Local attractions: Biking, Hiking, Climbing and Horse trails - Kings Mtn National Park, Kings Mtn State Park, Crowder's Mtn State Park, Overmountain Victory Trail Segment - Lake Whelchel. Two Kings Casino is just a 10 minute trip right up Interstate - 85, exit 5 Convenient stores/restaurants within minutes from site.

My Neighbor has started his own Campsite, "The Swimming Hole". If mine is booked up and you still want to camp, look him up. His is better suited for small groups but has much more privacy. We have a new road to the campsite; you can now drive down with two-wheel drive vehicle or RV down and park near your tent! There is plenty of soft sand to set up one tent or ten tents; large groups are welcome for an extra fee. A Porta-Potty is available at the campsite. Swimming is usually possible at the base of the falls; however, large amounts of rain can change conditions and make it unusable. I should also add, this is not a completely private campsite deep in the woods. The camp is visible from a shared driveway, and my residence is up a hill that overlooks the area. Also, I do not own the land on the other side of the stream. Occasionally, the owners of that land will spend a weekend afternoon enjoying the waterfall view also. Still much quieter and more private than a regular campground. Glamping tents and additional camping tents are available through a local company. Look in the pictures for the tent with red, white, and blue balloons. Message me for details. Close to US National Whitewater Center (mountain biking, whitewater rafting, kayaking), Kings Mountain National Military Park (Horseback riding and history), Crowders Mountain (Hiking), 3 miles off of I-85 and US-321 for people passing through.

Enjoy hiking on the extensive trails or fishing and canoeing in the pond. Crystal clear, large flowing creek gently winds through the property. Abundant wildlife including deer, turkey, opossum, raccoon, skunk - even the occasional bear, coyote, and wild boar have been caught on game cameras. Only 1 hour from Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Greensboro, yet feels like a world away. 30 minutes from the North Carolina Zoo and the Carolina Treetop Challenge at Rock Creek Park. Minutes from Historic Gold Hill, Tuckertown Reservoir, Uwharrie National Forest and Badin Lake. Tents only please; as the road to the campsite is narrow and. AWD or 4WD may be required during wet weather. Cars that are low to the ground are not recommended. We have table and 2 bench seats, fire pit, water, trash bin, toilet, a canoe and noodles to use in pond at the pond site. Rosewood Farm and Agripark is my home. I honestly had about the most amazing childhood one could have on this very land! We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! We have 200 acres of farmland that features rolling hills, multiple ponds, creeks, farm animals, show horses and countless wildlife viewing opportunities. Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark! For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? My goal is to make this land as magical for your family as it has been for mine!
