Our farm is an agritourism/sheep farm that offers seasonal events, educational workshops, a petting zoo, Bed and Breakfast, farm store, and camping area!
We are a working farm during the week but we allow camping on weekends or weekdays. The price is the same except the petting zoo and farm store are only open on weekends.
We don't have hookups, so bring a generator if you need it. If you need to fill up your RV water tank, we charge $10. Each of the 3 sites has a fire ring and picnic table.
A Grill Pavilion is available to rent for $20 extra. See photos. Propane is included.
We allow check-ins during the week after 12 noon, perfect for folks passing through and just need a safe and quiet place to park for the night and not interested in visiting the farm store, the barnyard or the rest of the farm, which are closed during week.
If you are looking for a petting zoo experience or want to browse our farm store, we are only open from 10-4 weekends. However, we do offer camp side service for things like fresh eggs, sausage, ground beef, firewood, jams or honey. You can order those items through the app here, or once you arrive, you can send us a message through the app and we will deliver to your camp site. We accept card or cash.
While we are dog-friendly, we do not allow dogs closer to the petting zoo area. We offer a 1+ acre fenced in area next to the camping sites where you can allow your dogs off-leash. No extra charge.
Our camping area is a large grassy field that will accommodate multiple tent campers, travel trailers, and RVs under 30' with room to turn around, stake your area, and not feel crowded.
There is also 1 regularly maintained porta potty located in this area.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE: Turn into the driveway and up towards the house. You will enter the camping area through the open double gates on your left. Pull up to either site next to the blue porta potty.

Update on Fire ban: I spoke with the forest ranger of Yadkin County, and You ARE allowed SMALL campfires for cooking and heating purposes only. No bonfires. Charcoal and propane grills are OK too.
Please respect our land by not bringing firewood from off-site and burning it here. We are a working farm that allows camping, not a campground. Our native trees and crops could easily be devastated by outside diseases or pests that are carried in firewood. We offer firewood for sale from our farm (delivered to your site for no additional fee). You do NOT have to purchase it prior to your arrival, and we have large tubs too!
Our STORE offers firewood, meats, eggs, Tallow, lard (both rendered right here!), drinks, Amish ice cream and jams/jellies/preserves, hammocks, hammock chairs, smoked dog bones, soaps (made right here), rentals of: cast iron cookware, a tent, Coleman stove, fishing poles, ... and MUCH MORE!
Please note that all our sites are reserved with a one vehicle limit. Some sites are large enough to accommodate additional vehicles but each additional vehicle will incur a $10 per night charge. Free parking for additional vehicles is located at the office/store.

Fletcher was very nice and the site had everything as described, level ground, down by the river, 50amp power, it was nice. The train coming through at night was a bit loud from a tent but likely not so prominent if in a camper. Would do it again though.

Absolutely beautiful spot! 🌲 The scenery is stunning, peaceful, and the whole area feels tucked away from the world. It’s incredibly quiet — the perfect place to relax and take in God’s creation. 🙌
You can definitely hear a shooting range in the distance, but it’s not overwhelming — just part of the charm of the area. And yes, the local rooster makes sure you don’t oversleep! 🐓😂

This place is very special to us, as its perfect for a quick get away, and you're so close to anything you may want/need to do. The host are top notch and feel almost like family to us now! Great place to stay! Easy access off of a secondary road. This is a full RV hookup and everything is very convienent. Doug met us (with fresh baked cookies!) after we had everything set up. He is a wealth of information on the area due to his family being on this land for more than 200 years. Very quiet and peaceful. Close by to a lot of activities. Check out historic town of Rockford and areas vineyards . We did tastings at Stony Knoll and Haze Gray vineyards and had dinner outside on the patio at the Harvest Grill at Shelton Vineyards.
We could not be happier with our stay and first time using Hipcamp.
Definitely will be returning to Bent Creek Farm!
