We are about 26 minutes from the NC Zoo. This is a great way to spend the weekend camping and get in a trip to the zoo! If you are a ghost story fan, the Devil's Tramping Ground is not too far away. You may see us on the property on Friday and Saturdays. After we finish our work, the farm is all yours for some serious peace and quiet. Rest assured you evenings will be very quiet and peaceful. This is a campsite where have the most of the 10 acre property to yourself. You are surrounded by properties that are 25 acres and up. You are with the people in your campsite and pretty much no one else, except maybe us if we are on the farm during the day. This is a private campsite where you are the only people on the property. We just want you to have a great time and bring home great stories. Come camp with us and build your own story.

We carved our 43 acre horse farm out of wild swampy land in 2007 and finished the barndeminium in 2008. My husband is retired from the Air Force and works full time doing the chores. I work full time as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner plus have a side hobby making homemade jams, pickles and flavored goat cheese spreads. We love the peacefulness of where we live...although the chickens, ducks, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and horses do get a little loud come feeding time. We are constantly looking for ways to upgrade or make our farm more fun to visit.
