We offer a 1+ acre fenced in area next to the camping sites where you can allow your dogs off-leash. No extra charge. We stayed here due to its location within a few miles of our family/friends. Monte is a very friendly host and very welcoming. My husband was working remote through the day and we went to our friends’ home in the evenings. I spent daytime hours exploring the area recreation areas and parks, of which there are many. There is a lot of contracting type activity that goes on around the site during the day but it quiets down at night. We were also there Sunday-Sat and weren’t there over a weekend. If you are looking for seclusion and camping in the woods, this site would not be for you. If you are looking for a jumping off point for exploring the area, work, or visiting family/friends, this site works fine.

It’s incredibly quiet — the perfect place to relax and take in God’s creation. 🙌 You can definitely hear a shooting range in the distance, but it’s not overwhelming — just part of the charm of the area. Monte and Tracy (and Woody of course) are wonderful hosts and you don’t leave there without establishing a long term friendship! 50amp, water and sewer hookups were all new and worked perfectly. They held an evening fire down at the wood pile where all the guests are welcome and encouraged to come, have a beer, relax and tell stories! Great nature walks to see beaver dams or other critters of the beautiful surrounding woodlands. Our dog Cali loved the nature walks! We will definitely come back to visit our new friends again!

Great full hookup RV location near Raleigh/Wendell, NC. Monty was awesome and very accommodating. Has a great, friendly dog named Woody. Sites are clean, and have full hook-ups, including 50Amp service. A little noise from the road right behind the sites, but it is not a major road, and is very quiet at night. Overall a fabulous location to stay if you are in the Raleigh area!
