Peace and quiet equals “Solitude at my farm. I’m just like you. I want to camp at a quiet place in the country where it’s plenty of acres and no houses to look at and a clean bathroom and shower. Well it’s here. I’m Located in Wakefield Virginia. If you’re traveling to Virginia Beach I’m one hour away. From my farm there is a free ferry in Scotland where the ferry departs to Williamsburg just 30 minutes. At my farm I have 5 sites for tent/camping so it’s spaced appropriately apart I have 2 Rv sites totally away for their privacy and a new mini house also properly spaced away. All have a clean picnic table and a fire pit. 100 feet away you’ll find that clean bathroom, shower and a wash station for hygiene. You’ll see the love I put into this and because I love it and my prior guests love it, which means it may be right for you also. In the town of Wakefield you’ll find gas stations, dollar stores, a Value food market and if you want (to go) food we have that also. Plus it’s home to The Virginia Diner. Amenities include toilet access, a shower, trash disposal, picnic tables, and potable water. Pets are allowed, as are campfires.

Casey’s property is perfect for a long or short term stay! I felt like I had everything I needed and it was very nice to be greeted. Great communication and Casey is lovely overall. Hands down one of the best hidden gems on the way to OBX. Their dog Fischer greeted us immediately, such a friendly pup, and friendly host/family. The lot is spacious, and the ponds are magical. We had the pleasure of staying here in the beginning of November. It’s a very scenic spot by several ponds and surrounded by forest. They had even just put in an electrical hookup for us to use. Abegail was a very responsive hostess and her husband even lent me his fishing rod to use. I probably would have caught something if my dog hadn’t thought it was some kind of fetch game lol. Lots of room for my pets to roam about and I had a couple great fires while I was there. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back someday!

Super friendly family that clearly care about their animals and property.
We took a short hike around the pond, which was perfect after a day of traveling.
We bought some very fresh and delicious eggs. Will definitely use this as a stop-over when passing through again. 🙂

I had a good night at Evan's Farm made even better by the fact I was the only camper. Spoke to the owner who was very nice. The fishing was good and the night sky was great. Pretty quiet place which is just what I was looking for. Would definitely come back.

Great location! Set-up was super easy and we loved being surrounded by all the animals and the vintage buses. The hosts were very welcoming without invading our personal space. Their animals were very tolerant of our dog who wanted to be friends with each and every one of them! We would definitely visit again if we were ever in the area.

Christopher was very responsive to every message, and he showed us around the property when we arrived. He even had his own farm fresh eggs and honey for sale. The campsite was on a well-mowed area, tucked into a corner by the forest. We really enjoyed walking on the path along the edge of the woods and through the pollinator meadow. I photographed at least eight butterfly species on the wildflowers, and saw a few more than that.

We had a great experience car camping on Michael’s property. He was super helpful and the site had great amenities. It was very clean, spacious, and private. We really enjoyed walking the attached trail and visiting with the friendly farm animals. Would definitely return in the future.

Loved sharing the farm with the farm animals and waking up to the sounds of ducks quacking! There's also a horse, goats, & chickens that you can interact with. Property is safe and peaceful.

Would 100% recommend. Great people. Casey answered within minutes of me messaging her. Perfect for our quick stop over with electric and water hookup. 50 or 30amp. Has that welcoming feeling with great views, farm animals and cute goats that love attention. not to far off 95. Will definitely camp here again.
