Our pads are extra wide, level, and extra long complete with a fire pit and picnic table. Sites are located in a grassy field surrounded by forest. Our 70 acre property boasts scenic views, two small ponds with fish to feed, and marked hiking trails. This is a perfect place for star gazing. It's our hope that you will find genuine peace and relaxation here.
Due to requests a second site was created in February '22. This is a perfect place for two families to enjoy this acreage all to themselves. Please see photo denoting the location of site 1 and site 2. Each site is booked independently.

We have had several 40+ft rigs stay with us with no issue. For those not accustomed to mountain travel or new drivers please know that travel off NC 18 on the state road is a typical two lane paved mountain road with curves, some of which will require you to swing wide, a couple of areas of moderate incline but that does not exceed 8%, a short state maintained gapped section of gravel and an occasional low hanging branch. At the campsites there is a slight incline and some loose gravel.
Caution: Wildlife present in the area including bear, bobcat, deer, turkey.

Our native trees and crops could easily be devastated by outside diseases or pests that are carried in firewood. You will have access to a fire ring and picnic table (located at each site), firewood for sale on site (please do not bring firewood from off-site), clean well water (located near the pond), the creek to explore, our stocked pond to fish, and wooded trails to hike. Once roamed by Native Americans and now farmed by the same family for over 6 generations, Harmon Creek Farm is a working farm of over acres. Peace, quiet, tranquility and privacy are overflowing along the creek, and hiking throughout the hills on the backside of the farm (and on the other side of the creek) leads to interesting and abundant flora and fauna. The stocked, spring fed pond is 'brimming" with angler challenges🎣

This space has been so beautifully and thoughtfully designed and very well kept. The peace and tranquility of the area were wonderful, the views were spectacular. We camped with friends so it was a perfect set up. There are a myriad of trails to wonder through and several points of interest. We hope to go again next year! Thank you both for your hospitality!

This was by far the most peaceful camping trip I have experienced. Janet and her husband’s property is absolutely stunning. Truly a little piece of heaven. They have thought of absolutely everything. It was like camping in a state park with only two sites. Thank you Janet and Matthew for being such welcoming hosts!

This was our second stay here, had a great time with our first that we decided to bring some friends out for a group camp at the bigger site. This is such a great spot - private but not difficult to get to, and close to so many great hikes. Trevor is a great host!!

Dope people. Quiet but nice and pleasant. No qualms with me staying multiple nights back to back and reserving every night individually. Good tips about farming when I asked and they sold me some nice homemade apple jam from a local neighbor. They have a whole fridge full of homemade meat from their farm! All in all nice. Also the farm is beautiful and the camp spot was truly very nice. Multiple places to put a tent. Super boxed in by trees which helped with cold weather. Camp fire pit. Chairs and a table. Big bad ass pond right there with a love seat. All in all a good stay. Thanks guys!

Very private and peaceful. Deerfield spot is huge and pretty level. Compact toilet was not located so plan on bringing your own potty. Still would 100% recommend and would stay again.

Our creekside site was private, beautiful & a perfect landing site. Close to sweet little towns and hiking in Grayson Highlands but remote enough to feel like we were lost in the mountains. Our hosts met our every need and were so friendly and welcoming. We even got a preview of the upcoming tiny home rentals on the ridge- can’t wait for these to be available. We will be back and highly recommend this location!

Our boys really enjoyed fishing on the pond. The site was cozy and private. The host was super welcoming and nice. The area to play in near our campsite was perfect for tossing a football and running around. Would highly recommend this camp. We will be back.

What a beautiful property! Is a working farm, cows, chicken,pigs. They have a a little store You can Buy Homemade jelly and ice cream. We camped along the Creek, very quiet. The bath house has warm shower and very clean.
