There is a designated fire pit, along with an abundance of branches to gather for lighting a bonfire. Personally, I would move the fire pit further away from the barn containing the straw—though that is just my opinion. It is a very secluded location.

We loved camping at this peaceful and private hipcamp, complete with a stocked pond and plenty of room for the dogs to run off leash. The meadow is fenced on 3 sides which was a nice peace of mind having the dogs with us. My son and I fished the pond and we caught a bunch of small bass and sunfish/bluegill. It was great for my sons fishing confidence to catch something so easily! We brought our 14ft vintage Shasta (low ground clearance) and we had no trouble on the way in or turning around. We would definitely come back for quick easy trips close to the triangle!

The property itself is peaceful and well cared for, with a calm, quiet atmosphere that’s hard to find. My dog absolutely loved it too—plenty of space to roam and relax without feeling crowded or stressed. One of the highlights was the trails on the property. They’re beautiful, easy to explore, and add a lot to the experience if you enjoy being outside and moving around a bit. Overall, it felt like a thoughtful, welcoming place to stay. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled spot with a great host.
