The house is very communicative. it was very easy to get into our site and we appreciate being able to enjoy the grounds with our dog. all the sites are right off of a rather busy road with big trucks driving by so bring ear plugs. we really appreciate it that we had full hookups to electricity, water and sewage but we did find the water pressure to be a little low. overall the space is very nice and well kept and an easy spot to stay if you need to drive through or stay in the Raleigh area

Our camp hosts were amazing!!! Monte and his wife are great! We are very close to Knightdale, Louisburg and Wendell center. The gravel lots are level with full hookups. We also got to go fishing in the pond which is stocked with brim and bass. We had such a good time we extended our stay. My husband and I are truly looking forward to our next visit here.

Weekend Trip to Idlewild Farm Stays

Really nice setting. The sites were level and remained dry and clean during a major rain. Our hostess was amazing. She met us at arrival and showed us to our site. She had great recommendations on things to do and places to eat and visit. This is an active farm with several animals with walking trails, fire pits with wood supplied and play area for children. We will definitely be back to stay here and visit the surrounding towns.

My wife and I loved staying at Cedar Creek at Elease ! It was our first time at a Hipcamp site, and to say the least we were not disappointed! As things worked out we had the whole campground to ourselves! It was a great place to camp and Michael the host was very friendly! The campground was in immaculate condition! If you like the quiet nature of a campground then this is the perfect place!

5 nights at Farm & Zoo Campground

My husband and I loved our visit to Liberty Acres RV Campground and Zoo. Owner Alison was a delightful and helpful. Eight sites with full hookups - water, sewer and electric. We had 30 amp for our 23-foot travel trailer located next to the llamas up the hill from the pond with 4 well spaced sites on a gravel pad with a picnic table surrounded by grass. The site was quiet and peaceful with amazing “Out of Africa” sounds at dawn & dusk. The llamas provided us endless company-fascination on both sides was mutual. Our golden retriever loved his new friends he could watch through the fence. He was very polite. No barking. Our cat watched the llamas and the friendly bluebirds through the window. The pond down the hill, past the other rv sites that were closer together, was lively with capybaras and geese. There was a gravel road leading to the campsite s, which were level. The road allowed us to walk our pup in a loop from our site to the pond and up the road back to our site. The zoo is farther up the road with lots of animals: brown zebras, ponies, kangaroos, monkeys, a sloth, tortoises, peacocks, emus and more. No dogs allowed in zoo. The zoo is only officially open on Saturday and Sunday to the public for $15 person, but Alison let us wander off hours when the gates were open and the zoo team was working. Several great white Pyrenees were keeping watch at the zoo and a 14-year-old grey weimaraner named Zoe was providing zoo tours. Tip: Get the WiFi code no Verizon service

We had a great time with all the animals at this farm! There was all kind of animals around us including a baby camel! Patrick was so nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back! Next time we are bringing the grandkids!

We wanted a quiet peaceful few days someplace to unwind and rest. We found it! The quiet allowed us to get some needed rest and the full hookups and WiFi were a blessing! It was all we could have hoped for. They have about 15 sites total, some for tents, some for boondocking with your rv, some graveled, some grassy, some remote tent sites but only 1 with full hookups and paved. There are several hiking trails, one porcelain flush toilet, a dishwashing station and an outdoor shower for campers to use. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the hosts are very kind and helpful. If your looking for quiet, peaceful relaxation, we highly recommend!!

Since we love camping so much we decided to carve out 15 campsites for other campers to enjoy. Most of our campsites are gravel and level. We have a couple of sites that are grass for tenters. We have only site 1 that has full hookups. All the other sites are boondocking with water only.

The Saxapahaw Country Club is a beautiful 31-acre working farm and event space. Located just a few minutes from Saxapahaw Village, it's a convenient and gorgeous place to stay. While we are happy to be a late-night crash spot for after shows at the Haw River Ballroom, we hope you stay a minute to walk the fields, hang in the hammocks, sit by the pond, or take a swing from the branches of our 200 year old White Oak tree. You'll come down our curvy driveway through the trees, and see our event barn on the left. In front of the barn is a communal space for campers to enjoy with a great view. This area has a fire pit, chairs, wood-fired grill, handwashing station, and farm table. The shared outhouse/composting toilet is next to the pine stand with a white roof. Please note, this farm stay is an agritourism activity subject to the limit of liabilities as described in N.C.G.S § 99E‑32(b). We have sheep and pigs and a donkey rotating through pastures behind electric fencing. You are welcome to look but don't touch the fence! We also have 3 very friendly farm cats. Pork and lamb from the farm is available for purchase, as well as kiln-dried firewood. My husband is retired from the Air Force and works full time doing the chores. I retired May 2024 from being a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Womack Army Medical Center. I have a side hobby making homemade jams, pickles and flavored goat cheese spreads. We love the peacefulness of where we live...although the weather chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and horses do get a little loud come feeding time. We have different sites, please read each description or message me before you book a stay. All the sites have an 8pm latest check in unless you've stayed with us before. With the cold snap we have been experiencing the RV water source will freeze up over night. Please message me before booking the RV. We are constantly looking for ways to upgrade or make our farm more fun to visit.
