The Saxapahaw Country Club is a beautiful 31-acre working farm and event space. We have sheep, pigs and a donkey rotating through pastures behind electric fencing. Take a walk to say hello, don't touch the fence! We also have 3 very friendly farm cats. Pork and lamb from our farm (as well as kiln-dried firewood) is available for purchase at our farm store. We carved our 43 acre horse farm out of wild swampy land in 2007 and finished the barndeminium in 2008. We started with Hipcamp 6 years ago and enjoy meeting new people. My husband is retired from the Air Force and works full time doing the chores. I retired May 2024 from being a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Womack Army Medical Center. I have a side hobby making homemade jams, pickles and flavored goat cheese spreads. We love the peacefulness of where we live...although the weather chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and horses do get a little loud come feeding time. We have different sites, please read each description or message me before you book a stay. All the sites have an 8pm latest check in unless you've stayed with us before. With the cold snap we have been experiencing the RV water source will freeze up over night. Please message me before booking the RV. We are constantly looking for ways to upgrade or make our farm more fun to visit.

This is the campsite by the Pond/Stage. When driving in, you'll turn right down towards the pond. Pull off to the left in front of the stage before crossing the dam. Campsite is in front and to the left of the stage.

The property is wonderful - beautiful land, lovely campsite setups, great hosts. We came back for a second time and it just kept getting better. The location is wonderful. We loved the friendly cats, the wonderful barn, and the very fun swing. They also have very nice picnic tables and chairs. The little things really added to the experience. Highly recommend.

Site is very large, nice view out to pond and sunsets. Add on charge for bathroom is well worth it if you aren’t self contained. Hosts are wonderful and friendly. The place was very peaceful for my weekend stay. Will definitely be coming back again.

We stayed one night driving to Florida. The hosts were very nice people. Liz brought us some homemade apple jam and goat cheese with crackers. Yum! The place we camped at was next to the well house. It had electricity and water. The toilet was in the barn not far from our campsite. Good WiFi. The horses were beautiful. Thanks for the stay.

Such a gorgeous spot to camp for the night! I was passing through and needed a spot to break up my trip and this was beautiful! The vineyards were full of grapes which was so cool to see and my pups had a wonderful time exploring. The vineyard was open to the public during certain hours which Michael did warn me about, so it wasn’t quite as private as I was hoping for but still was exactly what we needed for the night!

Incredible spot, and some of the kindest and most helpful, warm, and friendly hosts we’ve ever had! Been using air b n b and hip camp for a long while and truly had such a lovely time here. Great space, fantastic and rural but also close enough to some really cool adventuring and very convenient having access to the shower and bathroom so we didn’t have to rough it too hard. Delicious pork add ons, adorable farm animals, and super pet friendly space. We were so grateful for the getaway and will definitely be back.
