Welcome to Bull Mountain Campground! We love the raw, wild beauty of our 85 acres and want to share it with others who love primitive camping. Nestled on the ridges of Bull Mountain in Stuart, Virginia, we live in a small community connected by steep, winding dirt roads (4WD strongly encouraged)! Right now, we offer multiple primitive camp sites with a porta-john in a central location. We have sites down by a creek or up on a ridge with views of the 3000ft Bull Mtn peaks. The Dan River is stocked 8 times a year with Brook, Rainbow and Brown Trout from the hydro-dam 5 miles up above us through Kibler Valley. Want to start fishing at the dam and walk down river to your camp spot? We can drop you off up to 5 miles away. Enjoying the cold flowing river on a hot summer day is definitely encouraged. Relax under the starlit night with the crackle of the campfire and the dreamy murmur of the Dan River. Kibler Valley is well known for its peace, tranquility and wildlife. Deer, fox, beaver, snakes and bear roam these woods so be careful to put your food and trash away from your tents to discourage late night visitors. We only allow 5 tent campsites at a time to keep your experience at our farm unique and private. Campsites are walk-in only. We do have a Polaris to help you move your gear from your vehicle to your site. Joining together with local farmers, we have a simple menu (see photos) so that you can pre-order your meals for your visit and cut out time-wasting trips to the store. Grilling fresh caught trout with local veggies and breads is simple when you order supplies with your reservation. Rib-eyes more your style? We partnered with 2 local cattlemen to bring you the best home grown beef around. Let us know your cut. And if you are a pork lover, local ground sausage and smoked bacon will get your morning rolling. Might be able to get some ribs, if needed too. Local veggies, fruits and breads are seasonal, but there is something in every season. The farmers in Patrick County, Virginia will make sure you are fed. Please include your grocery list in the "message host" section. We will communicate and have everything ready when you arrive. Firewood provided at no cost. Lois and Mike's spot was just as described!!!! The view is gorgeous! We couldn't believe how big the spot was, and we had it all to ourselves! The sunsets were beautiful and the star gazing was incredible. We had a clear night both nights and the stars were all out!!! We are already trying to plan another trip. You will not be disappointed with this site!!!!

The Rocky Knoll is a beautiful little spot with an amazing view! Easy to access with additional seating provided, a lovely fire pit, and a well leveled tent pad. My dogs and I had a great time and the hosts were amazing! My battery ended up dying in my car the second night and they quickly helped me resolve the issue. I can’t wait to go back when it gets warm again. Thank you both so much!

They have a lot of accommodations there that were nice to see for people that come less-prepared. the view is very nice and it is a nice cozy place! The "poop shed" is also, really nice. It's not just a port-a-john, they put proper care and attention into making it enjoyable to use! Will almost certainly be booking again in the future!

My husband and i visited Oasis at Harmon Creek Farm from November 7-11th and had the best time doing nothing but relaxing by a fire most of the time. We needed LOTS of firewood not only because we like a campfire but the nights were pretty chilly. The whole farm is just beautiful, I loved waking up early and visiting the cows and donkeys in the pasture across from our site. The creek is just peaceful to look at and to listen to and watching the colorful leaves falling from the trees was mesmerizing. Cheryl and her family were so kind and accommodating and anytime we needed wood, they were always willing to get it to us. The entire family was welcoming and enjoyable to talk to. This place truly is a gem and we will be going back as soon as it warms up a little.

Weekend Trip to Infinity Acres Ranch

We absolutely loved camping at Infinity Acres! We were a party of 7. 4 adults and 1 kid in our 27ft class C RV, and then 1 adult and 2 kids in a tent. There was plenty of space for camping and hanging out, enjoying the fire pit. We cooked 3 meals over the fire, including some Bass that we caught in the lake! We are novice fisherman, so Rick even helped the kids getting the poles set up and giving advice on bait. Our RV is a 27ft Minnie Winnie, 13ft clearance, and barely fit into the spot. Laura came to greet us and we actually had to trim a couple of branches to be able to fit, but she was kind and helpful and we made it work no problem. The kids absolutely loved watching all of the animals. We took a few hikes through the woods and made our way to "Narnia". And the fishing pond was great. Our oldest son caught his biggest fish! The views were great, so much foliage, and the property sits atop a hill so you've got quite a bit of visibility. We will absolutely stay here again, both kids and adults had a great time at Laura's place!

The property is beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained — the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. We’re already planning our next visit and inviting a few friends to join us. Dope people. Quiet but nice and pleasant. No qualms with me staying multiple nights back to back and reserving every night individually. Good tips about farming when I asked and they sold me some nice homemade apple jam from a local neighbor. They have a whole fridge full of homemade meat from their farm! All in all nice. Also the farm is beautiful and the camp spot was truly very nice. Multiple places to put a tent. Super boxed in by trees which helped with cold weather. Camp fire pit. Chairs and a table. Big bad ass pond right there with a love seat. All in all a good stay. Thanks guys!

This is a beautiful place to camp. Very secluded. A small stream circles the property. The old cabin is an awesome piece of history. Tons of birds. If you're looking for peaceful, secluded and primitive camping, this is the spot to be in this area. Emily was a great host. Very responsive and nice. She met us, showed us where to go, informed us on the area and then gave us privacy for the weekend. We would definitely come back if we're in the area again.
