We have always enjoyed quiet secluded campsites, river floats and sitting by the river. After years of looking all over the mountains for a river property we could call our own, our favorite spot on the river came up for sale. It just so happened it was nearly halfway between where we both grew up. After many sleepless nights worrying if we could succeed or not (it was much larger than properties we had been looking for), we bought it! Our favorite spot on the river was virtually inaccessible by any way other than floating. But after hundreds of hours of hard work, we think we have developed a place where others too can enjoy the things we do about the property. We dream big and Tellurian remains a work in progress, but we feel we have created a place where folks can enjoy the peacefulness of nature, the river and incredible views. Here on our peaceful homestead we are conveniently located just a few min, 1.5 miles, away from interstate-85, exit 83. We offer water and sewer hookup. Pets are allowed but they MUST be leashed. We have free ranging ducks and chickens who must stay safe. If you’d like to stay awhile to explore we are 10 minutes away from downtown Cowpens, and 10 minutes away from historic Cowpens battlefield. More interesting places to visit-Gaffney Outlets, Strawberry Hill USA, downtown Spartanburg. Perfect place to stop for the night when passing through or to even stay awhile.

Neal Creek Primitive camping by the creek is located on private property. The two large campsites are approximately 300 feet apart and are located right beside the running creek. Our second New camping site "Back Forty Camping" is located on our adjacent horse farm property, just across from Neal Creek camping! Plenty of shaded area's. Learn more about this land: We are only 1/2 a mile from the Interstate 85. So bring your tents, campers or your small RV and come and setup down by the babbling Neal creek, or rent our private covered camper located on the horse farm. Build a nice fire in the fire pits. The firewood is provided, just bring your fire starter. The Neal Creek campsites are semi-wooded areas with plenty of shade. They are very large private, peaceful and quiet sites. The Back Forty Camping is semi-wooded area with plenty of privacy!  View the stars at night, relax during the day or if you are into biking or hiking, go to the Overmountain Victory trail located about 15 minutes away and enjoy the 6.7 mile loop around Lake Whelchel right off I-85. Local attractions: Biking, Hiking, Climbing and Horse trails - Kings Mtn National Park, Kings Mtn State Park, Crowder's Mtn State Park, Overmountain Victory Trail Segment - Lake Whelchel. Two Kings Casino is just a 10 minute trip right up Interstate - 85, exit 5 Convenient stores/restaurants within minutes from site.

Weekend Trip to Wiseman Ridge Boutique RV Park

This was our second time enjoying a weekend at Wiseman Ridge. Site #1 is spacious and private with the most wonderful mountain views. We love the peace and quiet, and also Wiseman Ridge's proximity to the Linville Falls Visitor Center and hiking trails. The Linville Falls Winery is just around the corner too! Eric is a very friendly and responsive host, and we will definitely be back!

Our first trip to a 'regular' campground with a large number of sites and amenities. This one is in a wooded setting with lots of trees everywhere. The sites themselves are not very private but the many trees adds to the ambiance making it a better experience. About half the sites around us were not occupied which helped but there is a good amount of separation between the sites. We did not use any of the other amenities since we were exploring the parkway and other sites in the area but were impressed with what was available right in the campground. Road entering the complex was slightly difficult (narrow and rough in areas) but we didn't have any problems entering or leaving.

It’s a beautiful spot to get away from the city. We had some fireflies every night. We ran low on fire wood and I messaged Nate. A couple hours later we had a ton of wood. Nate is a wonderful host. The hot tub was very clean.

We were switched to their solo site and I would highly recommend. Didn't get a chance to stay at the campground, but it was a welcomed and pleasant offer. Full hookup, goats, horses, and cows in the nearby pasture nestled mountain side, it was perfect for us. They were friendly, the site was clean, and it was an overall easy trip and experience. We look forward to booking again.

This campground was an absolute delight! It’s off the grid and not a large resort campground, which makes it perfect for those seeking a more relaxed camping experience. The views are breathtaking, and the river access is beautiful. My two small children had a blast there. However, if you’re looking for a campground with a ton of amenities and all the things that come with resort camping, this isn’t the place for you. But if you’re looking for a peaceful and off-the-grid camping experience, this is the place to be! The owners were also incredibly helpful. A huge storm rolled in, and they were concerned for our safety. He recommended that we hunker down in the bathhouse/recreational space until the storm passed. We definitely will be returning!
