Nice secluded tent campsite on an angora bunny farm. Listen to the sound of the mountain creek while you sleep, and cuddle with bunnies by the running water wheel during the day. Very relaxing spot to decompress and unplug on 7 acres that are mostly wooded. Pisgah National Forest is just two miles away with plenty of hiking to explore. The charming town of Burnsville is just 10 miles on a beautiful, scenic highway. Homeplace Brewery, Birdfoot Taproom, and Snapdragon are among the local spots to visit. Asheville is also nearby at just under an hour’s drive. The trail entrance to Big Butt is a couple miles away with a few great overlook points. If you want to do the whole 24 mile length of the trail (featuring 5 mountain peaks above 6,000ft), I can make shuttle arrangements for your party to be picked up at the end. We added an additional canvas top to keep you completely dry and sheltered. This site is totally private among the rhododendrons and has a creek you can hear while sleeping.

My husband and I loved this whole camping experience! The tent is super spacious with a beautiful view of the creek. We'd wake up to the sound of happy ducks playing in the water too. I have back problems and was worried about the bed at first, but man! It was SO comfortable. I was even able to use the swing yoga rig at the pavilion to do some decompression for my back. Vicki was so kind and very communicative with any and all questions. I also loved all the little signs that give detailed instructions for any and every thing. 100/10 can't wait to go back!

This creeks runs the full length of 11 Acres you are free to explore. Check out our loop trail on your trip to the bathroom.

This was an absolutely adorable place to stay! Everyone was very friendly and it was great that there were shared spaces, but I still felt like I could have privacy at my site. The whole campground was well maintained, and perfectly located between hiking at DuPont State Forest and the night life of Asheville!

We had an incredible stay! Vicki is a phenomenal host who has clearly dedicated lots of time to creating a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy the outdoors. She had proactively reached out to me when Site 3 opened up and offered to upgrade us, so happy that we did! All of the sites are wonderful and offers a perfect getaway base camp for exploring the nearby outdoors and Asheville. We hope to be back!

Weekend Trip to Mila’s Bunny Farm

Cat was a fantastic host, showing us everything and helping hold rabbits, and sharing about all the details. She gave a great hike recommendation 1.5mile to the Waterslide Rock and we did it at sunset. The tent was spacious and she setup 2 extra beds with pillows and sheets and blankets. She gave us extra firewood which made for a fantastic fire at night and in the morning for drinks and warmth. The tent and waterwheel and rabbits and creek running past all made for a memorable trip!!

We had a gorgeous trip to Pisgah Forest when the leaves were starting to change in October. Staying on Vicki’s land was a great experience. Everything was clean and tidy and exactly how it’s described on the website. It’s also a perfect location for hikes, bike rides, restaurants, and activities/shopping. We plan to go back soon to visit the chickens!

10/10 would recommend this site for a friend! Cat was a great host, provided clear driving directions and directions once we arrived. The bunnies were close to our site but didn’t make a lot of noise and were so fun to play with! The drive to get there was beautiful and so worth being a little far away from town to get those views! Can’t wait to return!

Great campgrounds. We had an issue with our bell tent and William was able to accommodate us at an alternative site expeditiously. We ended up at MTG4 which was lovely. It was one adult and two kids and we fit comfortably in the tent. Quiet and scenic with lots of space for the kids to explore. We will be back to try out the dome with a 4th!

We really enjoyed camping on Williams land. The tent and the lights with the tiki torches looked amazing at night. The directions took us straight there and it was easy to navigate around.
