3 nights at Redeemers Ridge Retreat

Slice of heaven! Quiet and beautiful views. Owners were caring and friendly. The sites were so well thought out. I appreciated all the detail that went into making this property a unique and beautiful place to stay. Just look around and you can see how much time and money was spent. The site itself is level, trash can available, firewood available, clean beautiful rock to park on, beautiful wood chairs on red stone, open property for the dog to run, enchanting pine tree forest and full hookup. Be prepared for a decent amount of wind because you are on a mountain.

Weekend Trip to Wiseman Ridge Boutique RV Park

Private and secluded. Full hookups were a nice treat with the family. There was a fifth wheel parked at aite 4 I believe. Our camper is 24' long and I wouldnt recommend anything over 35' for site #1. The topography slopes off a little once you get off the gravel. We will be back. Thank yall for having us!

Site 5 was great, with easy access into the stream. We could see our neighbors to the left, but I imagine you might have more privacy when the trees are fuller. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be back to check out some other sites in the future!

Weekend Trip to Bear Creek Tee-Pee Retreat

Staying in the Tee Pee was so much fun! There was no electricity ( which we knew in advance) no a hike to the bathroom/ shower making it feel like you were in the wilderness The weather was great , the host was available if needed Recommend bringing the little ones, they would have a great time

So fun! Very responsive hosts and we had the place to ourselves. The movie night was magical and we had a lot of fun lounging in hammocks, exploring the campsites and playing board games at the picnic table. The rustic tent was comfortable and the shower was nice! They could use some new table umbrellas, and the walk to the porta potty might not be great for someone with more limited mobility, but we were fine! The place would be great for a small group to enjoy together as the picnic table and fire pit are near a nice sized field in between the tipis and the campsites.

We camped for one night on our drive north. It was a pretty spot by the pond. Bathhouse was a perk nice clean shower! We did not do the farm tour but I bet that would have been fun.

This was a wonderful place to stay for a peaceful getaway! The petting zoo was out of this world, and I could tell how loved and cared for all their animals are. I can’t wait to come back and potentially stargaze! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet spot to relax and sit by the creek.

Cheryl so kindly agreed to host our homeschool co-op for a day camping experience. She consistently provided helpful suggestions and updates. The campsite was the perfect place for young kids, especially with access to the shallow creek. The farm tour was an amazing opportunity for the kids to learn about God’s creation in a hands-on way. We all truly enjoyed ourselves!

Every thing was great. You could see other camper’s but not to close at all. When the leaves get back on the trees I doubt you would even know someone else was there. Make sure you try some of there meats in the camp store !!

We booked Site 7, but a cancellation and recommendation from Cheryl had us staying in Site 10 instead. Both were excellent sites but 10 was the perfect distance from other campers to feel like you had the whole spot to yourself. It was a couple of us doing some motorcycle camping and The Oasis was only 2 hours from Raleigh and near many solid roads for riding and exploring. But with everything at the Farm, you really didn't need to leave! A secondary road/path to these sites allowed us to come and go on the bikes with much less concern for disturbing the animals. The folks were even nice enough to deliver our firewood to the site. Site 10 was right on the creek and just the right amount of sandy to feel like an oasis. If you stay (and you should), be sure to bring a cooler and grill to buy some of their meats to cook and take a tour to check the place out. The folks were super nice and the Farm was a great place to stay.

WE LOVE OUR CAMPERS! ❤ Please respect our land by not bringing firewood from off-site and burning it here. We are a working farm that allows camping, not a campground. Our native trees and crops could easily be devastated by outside diseases or pests that are carried in firewood. We offer firewood for sale from our farm (delivered to your site for no additional fee). You do NOT have to purchase it prior to your arrival, just let us know how much you will need so we will have it ready for you. Our new CAMP STORE offers firewood (delivered to your site!) , meats and eggs from our farm, Tallow & lard (both rendered right here!), drinks, Amish made ice cream and jams/jellies/preserves, hammocks, hammock chairs, smoked dog bones, soaps (made right here), rentals of: cast iron cookware, a tent, Coleman stove, fishing poles, ... and MUCH MORE! Please note that all our sites are reserved with a one vehicle limit. Some sites are large enough to accommodate additional vehicles but each additional vehicle will incur a $10 per night charge. Peace, quiet, tranquility and privacy are overflowing along the creek, and hiking throughout the hills on the backside of the farm (and on the other side of the creek) leads to interesting and abundant flora and fauna. The stocked, spring fed pond is 'brimming" with angler challenges🎣 Our cows, pigs, sheep, donkeys, chickens, ducks, quail, and geese are all eager to meet you, as are we! Bear Creek Tee-Pee Retreat is a small slice of paradise in Mocksville NC. We are the last property at the end of a dirt road surrounded by woods on all sides. We built this space as our little stay-cation spot and knew we had to share it. We are passionate about what we do and work hard to continue to build and grow and share this beautiful space for others to enjoy. We have 3 primitive sites and 2 authentic tee-pees. There is a bath house with a heated shower, and a port-a-john that is cleaned regularly. There are 2 picnic areas with charcoal grills. We have a 24x16 enclosed stage that can be used for bands, educational classes, karaoke, yoga... ect. There is also an outdoor movie theater that is available to rent for an evening. There are a few restaurants close by and we are only 6 miles from downtown Mocksville. There are a lot of wineries and breweries within a 30 min drive from our property. We are about 15 minutes from river access to the Yadkin river for anyone looking to Kayak. There are lots of local fishing holes and places to go horseback riding. We are about an hour drive to lots of different hiking trails from pilot mountain, and hanging rock to the blue ridge parkway. We have 2 dogs that live here and will greet you at the gate. Please be respectful of the neighbors and drive slowly down the dirt road to our property to limit dust. We look forward to hosting your camping get away.

There are 2 ponds on the property available for fishing and paddling. Given the area the farm covers campers will have peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. For NASCAR fans, the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway is within walking distance. If you can't occupy your time here we're within 10 minutes of many local attractions. Wilkes also hosts festivals like; MerleFest, Apple Festival, and Peach Festival. This area is home to many Peach and Apple Orchards one personal favorite is Tevepaugh Orchards. And if the local attractions don't suffice the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone and Blowing Rock are all within an hour.

Mountain RV Pads Full Hookup

***Helene update 10/2/24: We are very blessed to report that our campsites are unharmed, accessible and with power and water. We did experience about 14 inches of rain and extreme wind causing significant tree damage. While you may notice downed trees while hiking on our 70 acres, disruption to your experience should be minimal. We hope to see you on the mountain for some beautiful autumn leaves! It's our heart when you return home that you feel like you have truly gotten away when you stay with us. We invite you to enjoy one of our two full hookup RV sites which includes 20/30/50 amp service, sewer, and water at each campsite. Our pads are extra wide, level, and extra long complete with a fire pit and picnic table. Sites are located in a grassy field surrounded by forest. Our 70 acre property boasts scenic views, two small ponds with fish to feed, and marked hiking trails. This is a perfect place for star gazing. Due to requests a second site was created in February '22. This is a perfect place for two families to enjoy this acreage all to themselves. Please see photo denoting the location of site 1 and site 2. Each site is booked independently. If you should ever decide that you want to leave this quiet haven, consider an adventure to: NASCAR North Wilkesboro Speedway 18 miles, Wilkesboro (Merelefest, Faithfest) 16 miles, West Jefferson 28 miles, Stone Mountain State Park 24 miles, Boone 43 miles, Tweetsie Railroad 46 miles, Grandfather Mtn 56 miles, Mt. Airy (Mayberry) 53 miles. We have had several 40+ft rigs stay with us with no issue. For those not used to mountain travel or new drivers please know that travel off NC 18 on the state road is a typical two lane paved mountain road with curves, some of which will require you to swing wide, an incline that does not exceed 8% in a couple of places, a short state maintained gapped section of gravel and an occasional low hanging branch. Caution: Wildlife present in the area including bear, bobcat, deer, turkey.

Wiseman Ridge Boutique RV Park

Wiseman Ridge is a boutique micro campground for RVs only, first opened in July of 2022. Our property adjoins the Blue Ridge Parkway in Linville Falls NC with easy access off NC 221. We offer 5 full hook up RV sites with views of Hawksbill, Table Rock and Humpback Mountains. Micro means we have only a handful of sites but that is where micro ends. Each site is expansive, with large areas to spread out and enjoy the views or play yard games. Unlike typical RV parks our sites are spread out on the ridge top and offer great views and lots of space. Our campground offers a unique camping experience for the RV and outdoors enthusiast. All of our RV sites feature views of the surrounding peaks and have full hook ups with, water, septic and 30 or 50 amp power access, high speed wi-fi access at each site as well as a picnic table and in ground fire pits. Wiseman Ridge provides the peace and quiet of nature at its finest, with easy direct access to the Blue Ridge Parkway by foot or by road. We are just a mile down the parkway from the entrance to the Linville Falls parking lot and picnic area, and 2 miles from Kistler Memorial Highway (Old NC 105) that provides access to the western rim of Linville Gorge and multiple trailheads. Our campground is for conventional travel trailers and motorhomes only. We do not have bathroom or bathhouse facilities so we cannot allow campers that do not have a self contained bathroom that can hook up to a conventional RV sewer drain and no human waste is allowed in our trash receptacles.
