This is such a hidden gem; it's my 3rd time booking at this campsite. It's great for a dip in the creek and a fun time with friends. The trails are well-maintained, and the amenities are great for first-time campers. I love bringing my friends here, and it has become somewhat of a tradition to come here and unwind. The host is very kind, thoughtful, and quick to respond; I will continue to recommend and spread the word about this wonderful site.

Loved everything about this place! The fields, forest, pond and stream were beautiful and clean. It was very private. The host was super; he gave use all the helpful and useful information about the site but kept it concise. We would definitely camp here again and in fact intend on it very soon!

Host was very accommodating to my last minute trip plans! Had campsite illuminated with lights so I knew where to go. Greeted me in the morning and was very friendly. Will be staying here again next time Iâm in the area!

Absolutely wonderful Stay! The host is an absolute joy. The property and horses are great ! We enjoy a wonderful convention with the host and she is so accommodating. We stayed here so we could enjoy a concert near by. There is so much to do within a short distance. Definitely will be back when we are in the area.

Emma was very quick to respond to my many questions. The directions were very clear, and I was given many options of where to set up camp when I arrived. I felt extremely safe and enjoyed waking up to the horses on the next pasture.

Weekend Trip to Rare, Watershed Forest - Piedmont
Itâs a beautiful quiet environment. The bus is cute and the bed is comfortable. It was cold when I camped, but with the little wood stove, my sleeping bag and the blankets Kristen provided I slept nice and cozy. My golden retriever enjoyed the wide open space and the little trail by the river to play and walk.

We were looking for a safe / quiet place to stay in our campervan for a few nights close to the Neuse River Trail. This spot was perfect! Trail access is directly on the property (no need to ride or walk on main roads to get there). Emma and co were super responsive to our questions, and it was so nice to wake up to see the horses each morning!

I arrived by bicycle from the Greenway. There is a gate to access the farm without having to ride on a busy road. Emma met me with firewood! Camped under a shelter which kept the dew off my tent & bike. Emma was genuine and hospitable. I will return and tell other cyclists.
