Secluded, private, and oh-so cozy! This will easily become your most favored get-away spot! The cabin is located at the end of a private gravel road with a fish pond and thousands of acres of peaceful wooded mountains at it's doorstep! And yes, there are hiking trails! We built this cabin with you in mind. Everything was custom made by us; from the woodstove rock wall, to the cabinets and outdoor picnic table. You will instantly relax when you walk into this very special place. You will never want to leave! The cabin includes a large front porch with rocking chairs where you will enjoy your warm tea or coffee each morning and evening while overlooking the peaceful pond and woods. There is an outdoor fire ring and picnic table where you can enjoy a campfire, cook on the open flame, and have smore's in the evening. Inside the cabin you will find everything to be incredibly beautiful and spaced to create the coziest atmosphere you've ever enjoyed. There is a wood burning stove indoors that when lit, takes the whole experience to the next level! But you don't have to rely on the woodstove for heat, we've installed a brand new wall unit for heat and air! You also have a DVD player and a television with an assortment of DVDs to choose from. The cabin sleeps 4-5 people comfortably. There is a full size bed that sleeps 2 in the main room of the cabin. There is a loft above that sleeps 2-3 more. A rolling library ladder is how the kids will access the loft area! So fun! The kitchen is complete with a refrigerator, electric stove, oven, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. A peaceful mood is set by warm-toned sawmill lumber walls, recessed lighting in the ceiling, a kitchen window above the sink that overlooks the side yard campfire area and beautiful woods surrounding the cozy cabin. The bathroom is so nice with a stand-up shower, hand-made oak vanity, and a door to the "star-gazing" porch. Flood lighting lights up the area around the cabin at night so you might spot a deer, fox, or even a bear traveling through or getting a drink of water from the pond. You will instantly relax at the coziest cabin on earth. You deserve a get-away that actually recharges you! This cabin is for the couple or family that just wants to take a much needed break from the real world. Once you get to the cabin, you can brew something warm to drink, sit in the glider rocker and gaze out at nature, build and enjoy a campfire, hike in the peaceful woods, or just take a much needed nap in the quiet of the coziest cabin on earth. I first saw this property in 2009 and fell in love with it.  The property is gorgeous and the land has a magical feel.  Situated in the foothills of the Blueridge Mountains we are in horse and wine county!  The area is also part of the isothermal belt so the weather is always better than the rest of the South or the Mountains.  The land is about 1/2 pastures and the remainder are beautiful forests with trails, creeks and even our own waterfall.  The animals and equines living here make the place even more special.Learn more about this land:Tiny home cabin on 28 acre horse farm with creeks, woods, and incredible pasture views. Your cabin is set in a grove of pine trees with gorgeous views from your deck and inside the home. We are in the horse and wine country of Polk County. There are 5 wineries within minutes. We are 7 miles from the new and fabulous Tryon International Equestrian Center. We are just over 20 minutes to Saluda with awesome kayaking and tubing on the Green River, hiking, biking and ziplining too. We are excited to add that we now are part of the Art of the Horse tour through Our Carolina Foothills!  The Tryon Chalet and Imagine Equus Farm are the new proud owners of Mil Flores, a beautiful horse painted by artist Mary Tolles.  Mil Flores now adorns the front of the farm!  The cabin has 1 queen sized bedroom and 1 bath, plus a full kitchen, living room and dining area. After living in Charlotte and Asheville, NC for nearly 10 years, I convinced my husband, Tyler, to move to Morganton to raise our family. It has always been a dream to start a farm. As a registered dietitian, nutritious, clean, real food is important to me, and Tyler is in his happy place on his tractor or with the animals. It has been so rewarding (and a lot of work) growing our own veggies & fruits and raising animals. It is a joy to watch our kiddos collect eggs daily & understand where our food comes from. Starlight is a remote gem. There had been rain so it was a bit muddy, but a very unique camp ground. The Spa was a delight. Hot tub and sauna under the stars. I really enjoyed the relaxation. Tent camping a small trailers would be best when using the smaller camp sites. There are unique circular tents on platforms available as well as a beautiful overlook spot with hammocks. Great for group camping!

Great place to camp! The property is fun to explore with stations for dishes and drinking water. There are some nice trails to walk and a great overlook of the valley and mountains with hammocks, picnic tables, and a BBQ. I met William on checkin and he was very polite and personable. Would definitely recommend this!

This is the perfect blend of comfort (real bed and pillows, tent setup done) and rustic camping (portapotties and water pumps). We enjoyed the site with a new, clean picnic table and large fire pit. The fairy lights around the site were a great touch. The Spa is a cute little private area with a fabulous and quiet hot tub and dry sauna. It was a little chilly that night but they have an outdoor fire stand which was perfect. The only negative is the ties to secure the tent are right at the entrance to the tent, so it was a minor bending wiggle to get in and out of the tent.

Absolutely loved it. Super clean. Perfect place to BBQ with a great view of the forest and mountains. Campfire looked amazing under a clear night sky. Indoor tent heater that kept us warm all night. Convenient store within a 3 minute in case you need some essentials. You really feel out in the middle of nowhere which makes it even better. Hopefully i can visit again this summer.

My property consists of a ridge running east to west with the access road running along the south border.  the land slopes up to the ridge for about 300 feet, and then down to the river for about 800 feet.  The south side of the ridge has a small pond close to the road.  The rest is pasture, and an orchard and small vineyard.  The north side of the ridge is old growth timber, and shady and cool.  The two cabins are along the river.  One is perched on a ridge over looking the river and the other is right on the river.  The swimming hole is 30 feet from the lower cabin.  There is room for a couple campsites along the river also.  The south side of the ridge was a cotton farm decades ago, but was covered in timber when I bought it 12 years ago.  The north side has been in timber for the known history of the property.
