If you wish to participate in a class, it is preferred that you register before the day of the class. I will post classes on this site so that campers will know there will be shooting in the late afternoon. Some chose to camp on other weekends, some choose to go out to eat during those times, and some don't mind either way. #2. I am also much in favor of work for camp site. Some have asked to do clean up or other small jobs for the priviledge to camp. So far this has worked out well, with one exception. Please do not accept an offer to take on a task that you do not know how to do. Example, pulling weeds or trimming if you do not know what a weed verses flower looks like. LOL #3. There is plenty of firewood, see photos, here laying around and some trees down that will make great firewood (bring your own cutting tools.) We also sell firewood by the bundle. #4. Being a camper here gives you the privilege of fresh veggies and fruits that are in season, as well as fresh free range eggs. MAJOR POINT: You must remember this is a working farm and our duties and responsibilities for the farm come first. You must abide by the boundaries. *see map* The creek is the back boundary and should never be crossed onto my neighbors. I will not tolerate any disrespect to my neighbors, what so ever. No! the roosters don't have an off button, neither does the jacka... donkey! When it is hay cutting time, we will cut hay. If you want to hike the property, feel free, know the boundaries and bring a machete to cut your way by the creek/stream in some areas. We have thistle trees and briars, you are welcome to cut all you wish as you go. There are spiders, bugs, and snakes etc. Black snakes, king snakes, runners, and whip snakes belong here and we ask that you do not kill them. Copperheads are here as qell and if you see one, come get me and I will dispatch it for you. .

Located on family land granted by King Charles in 1685 we have worked hard to restore and refurbish in a sustainable way, using the trees and supplies from the land that they sit on. Hand crafting doors and furniture the way the family did it 140 plus years ago. The history of this place is deep, even the nails for the cabin and farm house that is now the clubhouse were hand crafted by my great grandfather in his blacksmith shop, along with the wagon wheels, horse shoes, misc farm utensils etc... there was no running out to Lowes to pick up what was needed, it was made in the blacksmith shop. About the adventure co side, We are an adrenaline pumping ATV and SXS park with 25+ miles of mountainous trails at four skill levels; Green (Easy), Blue (Challenging), Black Diamond (Very Difficult) and Double Black Diamond (Most Difficult). You can bring your own ATV or SXS or rent one of ours. We have cabins & camp sites that are accessed by ATV or SXS on the mountains as well as hiking or biking. This is a nice place. Sites are wide and clean. My husband stayed here while he hunted in South Mountain. Super convenient. Definitely need a heated water hose in winter. Make sure you have longer utility hoses and electrical wire because hookups are at the rear of the site not on the side. The host rents extras if you need them. We will be back!

I loved car camping at Buddy's speakeasy! It was very easy to find and I was greeted by a dancing horse as I entered the property. I loved it here! There were sooooo many animals. My site was already with wood for my fire and the farm fresh eggs were so beautiful and delicious. I was greeted the next morning by a pack of horses at my site. That was amazing. They were all so friendly. Had a great night sleep and enjoyed a lovely tour of the farm with Crista the next morning. I cant wait to return and see what's new. Thank you for a great experience.

The property was really a great location for our group that were overall new to camping with amenities nearby to pickup groceries or go to a diner when needed! We really enjoyed taking turns on the row boat, and playing card games and monopoly in the cabin area at night. The campsite felt really private, but there was some barking from dogs nearby at night, and sometimes gunshots. Alex, the owner, was very responsive and helpful in finding local activities and resolving any issues we had during the stay!

We LOVED this site! We knew the weekend was going to be rainy but still wanted a quick getaway. The camper was perfect! No taking down a tent in the rain or setting it back up to dry off when we got home. They had everything we needed. All we had to take were sheets, a blanket and our pillows. The site was secluded. We could hear owls, crickets and frogs. The fire pit with a cooking grate was all we needed. There were extra chairs, a tiki torch with bug repellent, a table and a toilet. The beds were SUPER comfy and there was plenty of room for us and our kids. The creek was crystal clear and the boys loved catching crawdads and looking for fish. When it rained, we played cards under the shelter. Salem was responsive and delivered firewood to our site and had everything ready and waiting for us. We will definitely be back! So glad we found this place and it was available for our last minute trip. This was so much easier on us than our usual camping trips. It really is the best of both worlds!

I really enjoyed this site! It was very easy to get into, with a convenient pull-through layout that’s mostly flat and provides plenty of space. The full hookups were great, and the view of the hills and trees made it feel peaceful and open. I also loved the added sense of security — there’s a locked gate at the bottom of the drive. Getting in was smooth too, with the drive paved most of the way and well-laid, well-maintained gravel for the rest. The roomy layout also made it simple to turn around, back in, and pull out without stress. A few things to note: there’s no shade, picnic table, or fire pit, and the site isn’t clearly marked, so it took me a moment to figure out where to park. That said, I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a secure, spacious, and quiet site with hookups and a nice view.

Weekend Trip to The Farm at Long Creek

This campsite absolutely lives up to its name - Peaceful Easy Feeling. The whole weekend felt like nature showing off: dragonflies twirling around us, birds singing like they were in concert, and the lake buzzing with life. We spotted koi, fish, minnows, snapping turtles, and even a surprisingly cute little watersnake who was (quite proudly) having frog for lunch = front-row seats to the circle of life! Afternoons floating on personal rafts were pure bliss, evenings cooling off in the creek were refreshing, and nights by the firepit were perfection. Salem was such a kind and accommodating host, which made everything feel even more easy and welcoming. It all came together to make the weekend unforgettable — peaceful, easy and beautiful.
