Bought this place 13 yrs ago it was nothing but bare land. I've cleared out an area to camp, play, and enjoy the world. Find this as a good chance to share the outdoors with new ppl. Every year we host a Tree fundraiser called "May We Begin" where we replant as many trees with tree shields as we can raise funds for. Learn more about this land: The feeling of peace is about 1 mile off the road. Pulling into Apple Cove you'll see we've cleared areas for tents and small van style RVs. There is an individual fire pit for each camper, a small rock bottom creek runs through the 15 acres for a nice, relaxing view of the woods. The kids and I set up a swing set, and a spot by the creek to play and splash. Now, New York is a 420 friendly state. Enjoy yourself but please be respectful of others Minutes away from: Letchworth State Park, Silver Lake, Genesee River, Geneseo, Silver Springs MX track, Mt. Welcome, Mission Conesus, originally built by Franciscan Catholics. These lands were likely chosen for many reasons. Suffice it to say there is something special here. Come discover for yourself. Lose yourself here, or maybe find yourself, among the Hemlocks. First, a bit about the terrain. There is much in the way of forest, very mature, and a broad array of plant species. Elevation differences are vast, land to the west is uphill for quite a ways, and downhill to the east, to Hemlock lake below, so the world here can feel a bit tilted. We adjoin 150 acres of nature conservancy lands that nobody seems to know about. These lands are for respectful public daytime use. We also adjoin 6600 acres of NY state forest which is public property. Exploring all that is here would take a very long time! Want to get away? Welcome to our little slice of heaven. See the provided map for site locations. Site 1 is open field and is near the pavilion, sites 2 and 3 are along the woods, and site 4 is the most private and tucked into the woods. We looking forward to hosting you, at the mission.

Here on 5 acres of property, there's room for 5-7 tents and 2-3 campers. There's electricity to charge up your phone and a very clean outhouse. Enjoy a ton of berry bushes waiting to get picked and a small pond with a sitting area. Enjoy the fire pit. Just minutes from the lakes. DRIVING DIRECTIONS: When you turn onto Ace Rd, the camp is the 3rd driveway down on the right. If you hit the dead end - you've gone way too far. Please look for the white sign that has #9520 on it (like the picture). PLEASE NOTE: If you need electricity to your camper or trailer, you can use whatever extension chords you see on-site, but I recommend you bring your own long one. Sometimes our campers walk away with ours and we can't guarantee there will be one there when you arrive.

Once owned by a group of gentlemen who liked to come down to this rustic hunting camp and escape the hustle and bustle of the city....(and their wives..lol) Through the years they brought their families and friends. Eric purchased the property from his father and has since cleared the land and added several outbuildings. He put in two ponds, a suana, a stage, barn and many other amenities. He and Amy have since worked on building a new bathhouse to accommodate more guests. We welcome you to Backwoods Manor and hope you enjoy your stay!!Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent anywhere on our 45 acres! In the secluded woods or closer to the comforts of the main cabin. *Sandbar Farm was purchased as our home and as a place for both sharing our love and knowledge of horses with others and providing a place for animals to re-group and sometimes recover in order to find their perfect human. We have accomplished this goal for many and some, like Nameless the Mustang, have found a permanent safe place here. Over the years, we have found that our human friends and relatives also find the farm to be fun, and a popular place to relax and re-group from everyday life. We hope that you will feel the same way after a visit. Learn more about this land: Beautiful camping spots among the pine trees. Wake up to deer and horses crossing the fields behind you, birds chirping and the fresh air smell of the great outdoors. We have our own fields and wood for hiking, quiet dirt roads for walking or biking with horses often available for trail rides at an extra fee. We are also: 5 minutes from Stony Brook Park with its natural stone spring fed swimming pool and miles of hiking trails along the streams; 35 minutes from Letchworth Park, the Grand Canyon of the East with its amazing waterfalls. Whether it's a big event or the Arkport Summerfest, there's always something fun to do, besides just relaxing. We also offer limited stabling for outside horses so you can enjoy the trails at more than 5 different parks. Phillips Creek/Turnpike Forest/Palmers Pond, Coyle Hill, Sugar Hill, Wag trail, Mendon Ponds and several others. Have a different hobby? Our home is located 1/4 +/- mile from most sites. We are dog lovers and well behaved dogs are welcome as long as owners notify us in advance, keep them in control and clean up after them. When you arrive you will follow 🙂 signs to your site. There may be scant service without searching out a sweet spot.
