Keuka Lake State Park is only 4 miles away and we're in close proximity to the village of Penn Yan where you'll find any provisions you may need. Time slows down as you relax and experience what we like to call 'Camp Time'. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!The sites are grouped together so that you can do just that - go with a group! Also a great site to go solo. If you rent a site, the entire property is yours for that time frame. The property is located on the Champlain Canalway Bike Trail and has an established hiking trail and a smaller walking trail to beautiful overlooks, looking over the Adirondack Mountains.
The Campground has 18 sites with a mix of Tent sites, Full Hook up sites (P/W/S) and Power and Water Sites (P/W). Bailee is a phenomenal host. Her communication goes above and beyond. An absolute pleasure to work with.
This was our fourth time at the site. We keep coming back for so many reasons - the privacy, the tranquility, the well manicured site, the large space, the proximity to everything, the awesome fire pit….. .
It’s extremely difficult to find another Hipcamp that is comparable.

This is a very nice location, only about 11/2 miles from Whitney Point but very private. We were the only people there, had not trouble getting our 17 foot trailer in on gravel pad. We hauled our water but there is the spigot about 200 feet from where the 30 amp service is. A supple of dry wood and nice fire ring we made good use of, river was drought low but still hooked couple smallmouth bass and a several giant chub minnows. Saw couple three bald eagles fly though, lots of blue jays and king fishers sounding off. A very good spot, recommend for privacy and convenience, town is close but it doesn’t feel that way

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Happy Hours. It was private, quiet, and peaceful yet close to coffee shops, hiking, restaurants, wineries, and breweries, etc. Our dogs enjoyed the property as well. We would definitely stay there again!!!

Hands down one of the best bathrooms I’ve ever encountered at a camp site - extremely clean, great shower, amazing! Pair that with a good location near some local hikes, smaller number of sites so you aren’t packed in with a bunch of people, and the easy access to firewood…would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a dog friendly, cozy spot with everything you could need for a quick trip 👌🏼
Definitely on our list if we return to the Lake George area in the future.

We had an amazing stay at Granite Hill Lodge! The site was peaceful, and the setting was gorgeous—perfect for relaxing by the fire. The host, Kelly, was welcoming and made everything easy from check-in to checkout.
Some highlights for us were trails to beautiful views, modern showers and nice picnic tables. The site had firewood available, showers and bathrooms on site, decent service for ATT but Verizon has a tower right in the property.
We’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet retreat. We can’t wait to come back!

We had an incredible camping weekend in Kelly’s land. We were situated on site 3, which was incredibly private and had a lovely picnic bench and a fire ring. The amenities were top-notch, with extremely clean bathrooms and showers. The campground’s standout feature was the Grab as you burn service. We had the pleasure of meeting Kelly and Rick during check-in, who were incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts.

We loved Beth's land. It is far enough away from the road that our dogs had some space to run around and play. They also got to cool off in the river. Site is exactly as advertised. Easy in and out, directions bring you right there. Beth was very responsive. Overall 2 thumbs up!

Nice little campground with full hookups and a nice fire pit.There was nice pub just a few miles up the road and a Cumbys if you need gas or ice.Just a short ride to the Hillbilly mini golf which was a lot of fun and they have food and ice cream also!I highly recommend the campground and would definately stay again if in the area.

Beautiful private campsite with full hook ups. Camp host communicated very well and checked to confirm we got there and set up okay. We loved the area and enjoyed the vineyards, farms, and hiking in the area. We even did a hot air balloon ride in Ithaca. Very cool experience. We enjoyed the private and peaceful evenings at the campsite and by the fire.

Hudson Valley & the Catskills
Close enough to NYC for a weekend break, head to the Hudson Valley to hop between Hudson River towns, picturesque vineyards, and farm-to-table restaurants. There’s great camping and hiking at Harriman State Park and Bear Mountain State Park, while Hudson River Islands State Park has kayak-in tent sites reachable only by water. Or head to the hills to explore the forest trails and wilderness areas of the Catskills Mountains.
The Adirondacks
With more than 6 million acres of rugged mountains, untamed forests, and glittering lakes, the Adirondacks is New York state’s largest park and home to its highest peaks. There are miles of hiking trails, canoe trails, and scenic byways to explore, plus dozens of campgrounds to choose from. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, seek out a secluded spot in the backcountry to pitch your tent—dispersed camping is permitted on state land in the area.
Central New York & Thousand Islands
Woodlands, lakes, and more than a few waterfalls dot the landscapes of central New York. In summer, head to the lakeside beaches at Green Lakes State Park, Gilbert Lake State Park, or Bowman Lake State Park, all of which have popular family campgrounds.
