Want to be close to Long Beach Island (LBI) without the crowds? You've found the place! Our lot is 1.22 acres only several miles away from LBI, New Jersey. The owner-occupied residence is tucked away from the road with only one neighbor in sight.
We live in a 1987 geodesic dome home on the property. Additionally, our self-converted 2002 International Blue Bird school bus is parked here. There is plenty of room for you to park in the circle driveway or to the left of the dome.
Enjoy our large, fenced backyard with plenty of room for activities. We have yard games available (Yard Yahtzee, Spikeball, Molkky, lawn darts, and more) and you're welcome to bring them to the beach. Crab traps, fishing poles, and a cooler are available too. Feel free to start a campfire in the designated area or relax in the two hammocks.
We promise you'll never be bored here! LBI beaches, the Manahawkin Lake, restaurants, bars, shopping, and more are all minutes away.

Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's.
Our main horse breeds are 5 Arabians followed by 2 Thoroughbreds and 2 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and beautiful cows.
There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites.
Another must see experience (at least once) in the area is The Cowtown Rodeo, one of the first and oldest in the country, only 14 minutes drive.
Cool and brand new Brewery opening up soon right across the rd from Cowtown and right next to The best Cowboy outfitter.

We have two private, quiet and roomy wooded campsites, both with shared access to a private-entrance indoor bathroom with shower, a jacuzzi, a washer/dryer and now an ice plunge that you can set to your desired temp. The bathroom, W/D, jacuzzi and ice plung are at the main house about 150 yards away. One site, Deep Woods 1, has power and party lights. Our second site, Serenity Now, has a screened gazebo. Both have plenty of parking, fire pits, chairs, and unlimited wood. Bring your tent or small camper van and enjoy! We're eight minutes to the OCNJ beaches, without the crowds and expense. Food delivery is avalible. Our RV park offers a park like setting and affordable rates. Water is avalible to fill. Pump out truck avalible by appointment for aditional cost. Currently these are OFF GRID sites, first come first serve, mowed lawn. The parking is open to your preference, the parking area is level and free from obstructions. Our family loves this farm so much. All the horses are happy, healthy, well-cared for, and so sweet. My daughter loves going around and petting them, talking to them, and generally exploring the great outdoors. She also loves the farm kitties, and peeking at the chickens. The property is beautiful and serene, and clean. It’s a joy to visit and unwind. Campsite #1 is our favorite because two horses wander right by the tent grazing. I also love that they have a few lawn games for when my daughter needs some activity. Loredana is the best host, so kind and accommodating. Will keep coming back!!

My group’s third time going to this campsite! We love it! We had terribly rainy weather and the many covered spaces around the camp were incredibly helpful. Our kids did not mind the rain so the grownups hung out in the picnic shelter and the youths took over the playground. A perfect mix.

It was a beautiful canoe trip to a private, mostly undeveloped 26-acre island. There was more than enough room to spread out, enjoy a campfire, fish peacefully, and simply remember that “life is good.”
LaMar went above and beyond to assist us and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. We not only found the most relaxing, quiet, peaceful private campground — one we already plan to return to — but we also made a friend along the way. Highly recommend La Mar and his private island if you’re looking for a truly unique experience to unwind and enjoy the kind of peace that quiets your thoughts.

Great location to everything shopping, food, the beach and still quiet off Route 72. Backyard was great for our dogs to run around and is completely fenced in. You are parked next to the house but the hosts are very nice and the space gives you privacy.

Such a great spot for a quick getaway or long term stay. The grounds were gated and the staff was very friendly.
Most of the amenities were closed for off-season or out-of-service however, which was okay. Quick drive to Cape May or Wildwood. Also, the dog park was pretty spacious for our dog to run around in, however, keep in mind the place is packed with RV setups and tents. I did my best to keep my dog from peeing on someone’s ‘front lawn’ since it’s a lot of gravel and it would sit.
The actual house was very clean. I would buy firewood elsewhere as they have smaller bundles for sale that burn quick. Also make sure to bring all toiletries such as hand soap and extra toilet paper. Also bring pillows with your towels and bedding as they don’t provide any, which was probably a given but I didn’t know that. There’s a Walmart up the street if you forget anything!
Overall, I’d stay again!

This is a wonderful site and perfectly located just a short drive from Long Beach Island! The parking area is flat, very accessible, and features a beautiful vibe surrounded by trees. Communication with our host was excellent, including clear and helpful directions on exactly where to park. Would highly recommend a stay here!

This site was truly peaceful and serene. I set up my tent under the canopy, realizing I forgot tent stakes. I probably didn't need them as the weather was beautiful and not very windy, but the host was kind enough to find ones for me to borrow anyway! I liked that it was private and tucked away, but still close enough to a running toilet and shower. I didn't use the jacuzzi, but it's a cool feature. You are provided a headlamp, lantern, bug spray, and bunch of wood - it's the little things that make a stay comfortable and memorable. I would absolutely come back!

This is our third visit to this site, and it continues to be simply amazing. We always stay at Site 1, where we’re able to set up right on the lakeside with an incredible, wide-open view of the water. The property is consistently quiet, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. We had no issues with ticks during our stay, and taking the canoe out on the lake is always a highlight. We even caught a few sightings of wild turkeys, which made the experience even better.
It’s a fantastic site for both large gatherings and smaller, more intimate groups. The available porta-john is clean and well maintained, which is always a plus when camping. Easily one of the best campgrounds in this part of the country, it offers the perfect balance of comfort and nature. Cell reception is also decent, allowing you to stay connected if needed without taking away from the outdoor experience.

Island Getaway is such a fun and unique experience and LaMar was an incredibly conscientious host. We had to cut our trip a bit short unfortunately due to weather and could only stay for one night but we are already trying to make plans to return with friends. We saw the most amazing wildlife like otters, herons, and bald eagles. If it wasn’t for the unfortunate weather it would have been a perfect camping trip. It is true that you can hear sounds from the road and from the air base at night. But honestly, I didn’t mind it at all.

I liked it. There were miniature ponies outside my window at night, it was cool to occasionally hear pony sounds when I was in bed. Animals were friendly. She was working on adding extra ammenaties, which I though made it look like she cared. Environment was nice. Asked for extra accomodations and she helped me out. Easy to get in.

Great open area stop when overlanding, easy drive to many places including the beach. As stated there are no facilities so you must be self sufficient. Tom does have a fire pit and chairs available, and while we did not use them it is a nice added touch. Our dogs loved the open field and to be able to roam unleashed without us having to worry about them getting too close to a road or other campers. Great host and nice stop. Would stop again!
