Discover a magical setting close to everything in the Catskills. This solo campsite is tucked into a private meadow pocket, bordered by a tumbling creek, woods, and my horse's favorite pasture, with views of the surrounding hillsides and the river valley leading to the Delaware River at Callicoon. Your accommodation includes a canvas tent on a platform with a queen-size air-mattress bed, a wood-burning stove, and two Adirondack chairs. A pop-up tent, that sleeps up to 6 persons, is available. We provide a large blanket and pillows with cases, but not sheets. Outside, there's a fire pit and a picnic table with benches. We supply fire-starters (kindling, newspaper, matches), but not firewood (available for purchase at a nearby market). Potable water is available in containers that are refilled upon request. The toilet is rustic. Our farm is home to herds of White-Tailed Deer, Wild Turkeys, Painted Turtles, Red-Tail Hawks, my Off-The-Track Thoroughbred horse, chickens, ducks, and Aslan, my Cocker Spaniel. Birdsong, frog song, the babbling creek, and the thundering hooves of Deva will serenade you to sleep. During your stay, you're welcome to hike, swim, and fish in the pond. Boating and fishing opportunities abound nearby, in the Delaware River or the famous fly-fishing creeks. Bethel Woods is a mere 20 minutes away. Other nearby activities include Farmers' Markets, breweries, farm-to-table restaurants, antique dealers, flea markets, art galleries, an Alpaca farm, golfing, horseback riding, and exploring numerous hiking trails. Fresh organic eggs from my free-range chickens are available for $5 per dozen.

The pond is nice for swimming or paddling. We provide a kayak or just sit on the dock or relax in the hammock. The village of Callicoon is a ten minute drive with great restaurants, a brewery, distillery, wine bar, grocery store, vintage shops, live music and a wonderful farmers market on the weekend. From town, you can also book a canoe trip on the Delaware River. Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is a 15 minute drive for great concerts and an interesting museum. There will be a list in the tent with suggested activities in the surrounding area if you choose to go exploring. We provide kindling, firewood, bedding, fresh eggs from our chickens and brownies from our kitchen. There is a small cupboard attached to the picnic table with everything you will need for meals on the campfire. A cooler is provided, please bring your own ice. There will be 2 large jugs of water at the site and additional water at the handwashing station on the back side of the outhouse. The site offers total privacy. Parking is within a couple minutes walk to the site and there will be a cart to help you transport your gear. We are a couple of longtime residents of this beautiful piece of the planet and we look forward to sharing it with you.

It was named many years ago and as soon as you arrive you will see why the name was chosen. It has been in our family for almost 100 years. You can still see remnants of the gristmill that use to operate there. Many great memories have been made at the Falls and we now want to share our slice of paradise with you. The rolling creek, a feeder searching for it's mama - the Delaware River - runs down the mountainside and over the rocks to give power and life to the falls. The steady flow makes you think you are far from civilization. But not really - only a short hike and you travel from the falls to a dirt road to a paved highway in a matter of a few minutes. Over thousands of years and a few hundred year floods nature has made this wonderful cave-like formation under and behind the waterfall. The mountain behind is great for climbing and a short walk down the creek will get you to the base of Jensons Ledges. The ledges are a steep hike up a mountain to a spectacular vista. We loved coming back to John and ACs after visiting years ago as a Tentrr site. One of my favorite spots ever! The site is huge and so well taken care of. We saw a lot of birds - so bring your binoculars, and bunnies etc. So great to have a few toys for my daughter and adults. Brought our hammock. We had everything we needed and the creek is so lovely. We had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful location, Alessandro and his wife were so nice and helpful. Grill available as well, so that was super helpful for making food. It's a shared driveway with the hosts but they are very lowkey and you hardly see them. We had some rain storms come through a few times and it was nice to be in a safe and sturdy cabin. Lots of airflow inside and we stayed nice and dry and no water came in. Highly recommend a visit.

Weekend Trip to Majestic Farm & Organic Orchard

I recently stayed at Majestic Farm in New York and had a wonderful experience! The campsite is beautifully maintained with spacious sites and plenty of privacy. The scenery is stunning—lush fields, woodlands, and great opportunities to see wildlife. The staff were friendly and always available if we needed anything. Facilities were clean, and the overall vibe of the place was peaceful and relaxing. I would highly recommend Majestic Farm to anyone looking for a restful getaway surrounded by nature!

We had a fabulous time staying here. Very comfortable and clean glamping experience in a cool location. The soaking tub and shower were an AMAZING bonus! Sam was very responsive. Would definitely come back!

Cute little cabin the woods!! Sam our host was great and responsive! The outdoor hot tub is awesome! Excellent set up for rainy weather too - the out door patio cover worked great and means you can grill and have a fire, even in the rain. FYI there’s power available and you should bring ice for the yeti cooler

Weekend Trip to Catskill's Le Petite Cabine

Petite Cabine was everything I wanted. It was so cozy and a perfect place to spend a rainy weekend in the mountains. The kitchen is outfitted fully and I loved cooking with the cast-iron on the stove. The fireplace kept us warm the whole time and listening to the rain from the cabin was lovely. We took some nice walks nearby and saw that it would be really nice to come back and enjoy the fire pits when the weather was nicer. Don’t skip on the outdoor shower either. Annie was a great host and I highly recommend!

It all went well I pulled up and the land was lush even in the rain the place looked magical & emaculate. I parked in my spot then my party & I headed straight for the tent of our dreams. We spent time on the water, built a fire, and enjoyed our Memorial weekend stay in the bliss of Hipcamp.

Weekend Trip to Frog Pond

We loved out stay at Frog Pond! The setting is amazing, and there was so much thought put into the site to make it so any stay would be enjoyable and relaxing. Before we even got there, Ginny kept an eye on the weather for the dates of our stay. Rainy and in the 40s. So, she reached out to let us know that she would be supplying a heater for the tent so we could stay warm. She also maintained contact during our stay to ensure that we were comfortable. The additional tiny touches, such as the freshly laid eggs and probably the fudgiest brownies I have ever had, definitely stood out. And we appreciated the folder of suggestions of things to do in the aread that can be found in the tent. The site tself was gorgeous and we had fun exploring the area. Definitely recommend staying, and already can't wait to go back ourselves!

2 nights at Mountain Bliss

Not only my partner and I enjoyed our stay, but our fur babies had such a lovely time too. We had the most wonderful stay at Mountain Bliss and are so thankful for the amazing hospitality. Host Marion was incredibly welcoming, kind, thoughtful, and very helpful throughout our stay. She even let us borrow power banks when we needed them, which we truly appreciated. You can really feel how much care she puts into making guests feel comfortable and at home. We loved everything from the peaceful overall view, the rustic toilet setup, the big trash bins for convenience, and especially the heater that kept us warm during the changing warm-cold night weather. Every day felt relaxing and cozy. If you’re looking for a much-needed escape from the busy city life like we were, this place is absolutely for you. Mountain Bliss truly gave us peace, comfort, and beautiful memories with our dogs. We would happily come back again.
