Our farm is a 20-year project in the making. We started with our horses and grew into the alpacas about 7 years ago. And recently added a cashmere goat. The blue rooster is a perfect addition for us here as I have always loved hosting. Making time to make your stay special. The Heron grounds boast a swimming and fishing pond, and over 4 miles of on-site hiking trails. Located on over 400 acres in beautiful Chautauqua County, NY, we are a working organic farm with a shiitake mushroom yard and on-site farm store.
We host weddings, educational workshops, retreats, private events, captivating music festivals, and much more!
We offer many different options for camping, from tent sites nestled in the woods to RV sites with electric hook-ups (electric site reservations are to be made on that specific listing and are limited).
We allow pets, all dogs must on a leash 6ft or shorter in length and held by an adult, there is a $20/stay pet fee for pets that can be paid prior to arrival.
Beach/Swimming Rules: Two adults 18 or over are required to supervise when there are children swimming. (Even if only one child is present.)
No swimming outside of the designated/roped swim area.
No watercraft allowed anywhere in the pond.
Do not use soap in the water, we have showers!
No alcohol, no glass or open containers.
On-site Phone is for Emergencies only (located in the beach hut to the left of the beach area). Creating a reservation is your agreement with this rule.

Located on the Walsh Family Farm property, this camping area is set up for tent or RV camping. The location is a secluded, sectioned area of a field, with woods on two sides, close to the Chautauqua Rails for Trails entrance. Come and enjoy WNY winter sports!! We are ideally located for skiing, tubing and boarding directly between Peek N Peek (43 miles) or Holiday Valley (40 miles). There are snowmobile trail heads 5 miles from our location. Be in the country yet just 5 minutes from 4 local wineries and 10 minutes from dining/shopping. We have kept the farm house feel with plenty of room for a family. This is a single occupancy listing. Your party will be the only guests. We do have a separate living space in our barn so only parking is shared. Originally 100 acres was purchased by the Deering family back in the 1800's from the Holland Land company. This is a campsite that has picturesque view of surrounding farmland and of Peek-n-Peak. Located conveniently off of Rt426 with a slight drive along a field to reach the destination. Private and out of the way. Plenty of wildlife (family of fox and usually mamma deer and her babies, can normally be seen doing what animals do. Close to Peek-n-Peak and Findley Lake and its many amenities. Has fantastic cell reception so remote working is an absolute possibility if longer stays are wanted.
This is a little campsite on top of a hillside besides, you guessed it, a big oak. This is on a working hay farm, so depending on when you arrive you might be able to see hay being harvested. Again, this a newer campsite so improvements will be made based on demand.
To enter the property, you will use a field entrance right off Harrington Hill Road (coming from the west it will be on your left-hand side). We have the way marked for you with posts/markers so hopefully it will take you right there. Please be aware this is located on top of a hill (with a big oak, hence its name :)) and you will be going through an active hay field to reach it.

Went camping with my adult daughter. Nice getaway for 3 days. My daughter was a little disappointed that you couldn’t see or hear the lake from site, but there is a private path across the gravel road that leads to the rock beach. The creek side is very beautiful too. There is an adjacent site that would be great for friends or family, but glad it wasn’t occupied on our trip. There were several hikers on the pathway behind us, but everyone was friendly. The train whistles were in a distance and very peaceful. The interstate traffic wasn’t loud that I noticed. Kids would love it there, as well as fisherman. For us, it was a very relaxing getaway.

Remote site close to everything lol. We loved how remote Dave's site was and how welcoming he was. Like meeting a friend.
We were able to get to store to replace our broken brake controller so we could make it back down the big hill on way out with old and heavy camper. We also got to fish in a beautiful park on way back from town and yet be in such a remote area to spend the weekend. We could hear turkey, owls and see a bunch of deer while sitting around the camp. We heard nothing much else...it was so relaxing and peaceful. We got to be only ones on grounds as first visitors for the year and 140 all to ourselves! Was worth every penny. Beats a sardines campground any day of the week for sure. He has a beautiful thing and so glad he shared with everyone. We needed it. We just got married and he got diagnosed with dementia so it's been a hard hit. We have both been struggling and needed a weekend to reconnect and learn how to refocus for us. We did ..thanks for having the space we needed away from our normal to do that.
Love the outhouse....best one I've been in. It has everthing.. well, almost everything...but it is fantastic! Go visit Leave him a note inside it.

Weekend Trip to The Highlander
We had plenty of wood!! I know that sounds so silly, but it's such an awesome perk to not have to search around to buy wood or be a scavenger for it! Oh, and the spot light to the "office" was great! Didn't have to find a flashlight or headlamp to go in the middle of the night! We went hiking everyday and it was so nice to come back to a cozy place and watch a dvd and make dinner!

We had an amazing stay at Angie’s Country Cabins B&B, truly a hidden gem. Angie is an incredible host who goes above and beyond, with attention to every little detail that makes the experience feel special. The cabin was cozy, beautifully decorated, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect romantic getaway for some much needed rest and relaxation. The breakfast was phenomenal, honestly one of the highlights of our stay.
We only wish we had more time there and will definitely be coming back.
For food nearby, Whiskey Hill Saloon was a 5 star dinner spot with a great atmosphere and delicious food. We also stopped by Ron’s Treasure, which was such a cool experience full of amazing antiques and history, and the owner is a genuinely sweet guy.
If you don’t mind a short drive, The Nana Peruvian Kitchen is absolutely worth it, some of the best Peruvian food we have had.
Highly recommend this whole experience to anyone looking to unplug, relax, and enjoy a peaceful romantic getaway. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

5/5 stars. If I had one word to describe it would be cozy. Ben is a great host. The cabin has nice privacy and it has everything you need utility wise. You are tucked away against a large creek if you like water activities. Nearby hiking trails. Check out the butcher shop in Sheffield if you like to grill!

An absolute gem of a site. The cabin itself had everything we needed. Was already warmed up for us upon arrival on a snowy evening and held heat well throughout our weekend. Ben gave us a great hiking recommendation that we took advantage of and it was just what we were looking for. Enjoyed our evenings by the campfire and morning coffee on the steps by the river.
