We allow pets, all dogs must be on a leash 6ft or shorter in length and held by an adult, there is a $10/stay pet fee for pets that can be paid prior to arrival.

The feeling of peace is about 1/2 mile off the road. Pulling into Apple Cove you'll see we've cleared areas for tents and small van style RVs. There is an individual fire pit for each camper, a small rock bottom creek runs through the 15 acres for a nice, relaxing view of the woods. The kids and I set up a swing set, and a spot by the creek to play and splash. Now, New York is a 420 friendly state. Enjoy yourself but please be respectful of others
Minutes away from Stony Brook Creek, Letchworth State Park, Silver Lake, Silver Springs MX track , Walmart, Tim Hortons, wiscoy falls, multiple restaurants, and stores.

Love wildlife? Stergelandia is teeming with life. We are home to white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, chipmunks and our beloved frogs! At night, hear the chirping of the peeper tree frogs and the howl of the coyotes.
Coming with friends? From the gathering circle featuring wood benches for your group to sit and talk, to the decks and benches thoughtfully laid out throughout the property, there is plenty of space for you to enjoy the quiet serenity of an overnight in the countryside. Stergelandia is perfect for stargazing! A remote setting, you’re close enough to amenities to feel at home but deep enough in the woods to get away from it all. We’ve seen deer, foxes, turkeys, hawks, chipmunks and bear on the property-a wildlife lovers paradise! We are 9 minutes from the Genesee River access point where fishing and paddling is plentiful.
Want to unplug? Our guests with T-Mobile, AT&T and Cricket have had reliable cell service and we can help with tips to store your cell phone during your stay. Our guests with Verizon report they are offline, leaving you free to use your phone for photos without the interruptions or temptations of outside life.
We are close by in our cottage on most weekends if any questions arise and can be reached by cell phone during the week. We offer cozy Mexican blankets, Icelandic Wool blankets, Icelandic Chocolates and other items and souvenirs for purchase on most Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.
All glamping guests registered through Hipcamp are given complimentary access to scheduled activities in September-October including our amazing 4th annual women's retreat, Chicks in the Sticks, from September 14-15, 2024.

Big Sky Camp is on 23 acres of mixed fields and woods, which overlooks a valley with beautiful sunsets. The campsite is tucked away a half mile from the main road via a drivable trail perfect if you want to unplug from your busy schedule.
The campsite includes a fire pit with removal iron grill, picnic table, storage shed with yard games and lawn chairs, a horse shoe pit, newly remodeled outhouse, and new for 2022 access to a hot outdoor shower stall. First night includes free wood.
Hiking trails are nearby. The nearby town of Arcade offers a steam engine excursion, restaurants, and shops. Letchworth State Park and Knox Farm State Park are within a thirty minute drive. Our campsite is very quiet and secluded. We camp here ourselves.

Located on a small homestead farm with free range chickens, ducks, cantankerous geese, as well as dwarf goats, honey bees and a blind dog--so please drive slowly. Farm encompasses a mature hardwood forest, large organic vegetable garden, pollinator gardens, plant nursery, fruit and nut trees and shrubs. A diverse population of wild birds visit and nest here, including our summer pond resident green heron. A creek with waterfall runs through the property. Cabin is on the edge of a tree-lined pond. Host will meet with you upon arrival to give overview of land layout. We live and work here, but will respect your privacy and space. We ask that you please do the same, which includes all the living inhabitants here.
We are in farm country, so at times there may be tractors, manure spreading, mowing, etc. in nearby fields. Also, the frogs make quite a ruckus on the pond in the evening.

Relax and enjoy a bit of rural life at our campsite overlooking farm fields and wooded hillsides. Our backyard is narrow, but long, so the campsite is approximately 100 yards away from the house, giving the guest privacy and a sense of solitude. The property enjoys plenty of sunshine all day long and beautiful sky views of the sunset and stars. We are located approximately 40 minutes away from Letchworth State Park, 15 minutes away from Six Flags Darien Lake Theme Park, and 20 minutes away from Batavia and Warsaw. Just a few minutes down the road in the village of Attica is a large park with a walking path, playground, splash park, dog park, basketball court, and shelters. The village also has three gas stations, a Tops grocery store, and several restaurants ranging from Burger King to the local golf course; feel free to ask us for other bar and restaurant suggestions! While staying on our property, you will be interacting with Stephen and Allison for your immediate needs. During the warm months, we spend a lot of time outside with our two little boys in the yard area immediately surrounding our house. You may also be visited by the school-aged neighborhood boys who won't cause any trouble but do like to chat! We provide four chairs, a fire ring, and firewood; there is no dedicated toilet, but there may be limited access to the bathroom in our house for a shower if we are at home and available. Please be aware, on the opposite side of the farm fields are other residential backyards.

The campsites are nestled along the edge of a hedgerow and into a wooded walking path, providing shelter from the wind. For your convenience, two port-a-johns are located within walking distance of the tents, and we supply fire pits and firewood.
During your stay, you'll likely interact with Stephen, our primary host. Allison may also be available, and you might even receive a surprise visit from Stephen's father, who owns the farmland surrounding the campsites.
