The feeling of peace is about 1 mile off the road. Pulling into Apple Cove you'll see we've cleared areas for tents and small van style RVs. There is an individual fire pit for each camper, a small rock bottom creek runs through the 15 acres for a nice, relaxing view of the woods. Our 34 tranquil acres feature level to gently rolling open meadows, sheltering trees, nature/hiking trails, wildlife watching, and peaceful spring-fed pond for a serene stay. Owner/host Scotty can bring firewood to your site ($6 per 5-gallon bucket) or deliver ice, soda, beer, or wine from the lodge so you can simply kick back and relax. You'll have lots to explore, too, with nearby scenic biking and hiking trails along with warm-weather kayaking, fishing, and swimming. Anything and everything a nature lover could want is here in this restful western New York valley!

William was kind, welcoming, and helpful over our chat communications. His land is beautiful. Just off a quiet road, the campsite is right on the creek. There’s a large fire pit right in front of the water, trees for hammocking, horseshoe stakes, and plenty of room for any set up. If coming from the Springville area, the drive is easy. If coming from East Otto/Zoar area, be prepared for some steep hills along the creek. Nothing my 15 year old rig couldn’t handle! We had an amazing time and plan to come back soon.

The RV hookups worked great, the area was easy to access, and everything felt safe and well-kept. It doesn’t have a ton of amenities as mentioned in their description, so if you’re looking for lots of extras you might be a bit limited. But for a convenient, comfortable place to rest while passing through, it definitely gets the job done. I’d stay again.

Great place to camp, it was out in the wilderness but at the same time close to everything. Nice large site with a water view. The only thing I wish was the electric was a little bit more heavy duty; but we had no problems. Overall great trip and I’d definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking for something different than a resort.

Randy and Bob’s spot is absolutely perfect! The views all around are spectacular, it is close to many great state park hikes, and so very peaceful… i don’t think I’ve ever been in a quieter location when camping. We shared some good stories with Randy and Bob around a campfire; they are both so very friendly and just joyful to be around. So grateful for their hospitality and without a doubt worried stay here again!!
