No need to run to the store just for basics like salt, pepper, or oil. Plus some less basic items, like a variety of Trader Joes spices + emergency snacks. The Blackstone outdoor griddle is a versatile cooking amenity, where you can make a full breakfast spread, delicious fajitas, and really anything in between. This is a somewhat remote high desert area, with all that entails. There are birds, bugs, and lots of other wildlife around. You may hear coyotes singing late at night or early in the morning. The last 1.5 miles of the drive are on a maintained dirt road. You don't need 4WD or a lifted vehicle to get here, although you may need it for other areas of Taos. Great little house with all of the basic amenities someone looking for a place not too rustic would love. Harvey was extremely friendly, and gave us any and all of the privacy we could want. The dirt roads are pretty bumpy, so if you come in a standard height car take it slow.

The area is absolutely beautiful!! And Duc was amazing and accommodating! We felt welcomed and taken care of. Our cabin was lovely, and the area of the river we could walk to was absolutely stunning! Weekend Trip to Camp Across From Pecos River

Nice, quiet site. Very comfortable accommodations with everything we needed for our stay. We were able to walk to the river as well as the trails up by Cowles Pond. We also enjoyed hiking the Cave Creek trail which was just a few minutes up the road. Duc was a great host and taught us how to build the best campfire of our lives.

We had such a wonderful time. This cabin had everything we needed and more! Very clean too! The host was so welcoming. We are definitely coming back but for longer next time!

1 night at Santa Fe Ridgetop Oasis - Hike In

Loved being able to hike in, and my dogs getting to run free on the property. It was so quiet, I was disoriented for a bit. I only stayed for a night, but would stay longer in the future to take advantage of the land navigation and other similar features. Really kind host, and cozy space. Gravel road on the way in, but I drive a Camaro and had no issues

Weekend Trip to Taos Goji Farm & Eco Lodge

We stayed in the Huxley cabin and really enjoyed it. It's quiet and relaxing. And, the stars at night were amazing! We are already talking about staying again soon.
