Taos Goji Ecolodge, is an historic property with ten renovated cabins and a 4-acre goji berry farm located on 40 acres of pristine land in San Cristobal, New Mexico. Welcome to the little guest cabin on the mesa. Simple. Cozy. Quiet. Clean. Everything you need and little that you don't.
Everyone's most loved feature is the expansive covered patio, with wide-open westward views over the Rio Grande Gorge.
Perfect for outdoor lovers who need a comfy adventure base. Close to skiing, hiking, rafting, mountain biking, hot air balloons, and more.

Coyote Cabin sits on 10 acres just north of Taos, on a property shared with the main house. You have access to miles of walkable dirt roads right from the door, and there are trails to BLM land nearby. 10 minute drive from access to the Rio Grande Gorge, and an easy 25 minute drive into Taos Ski Valley for snow fun and hiking. 15 min north of downtown Taos.
The cabin is divided into two sides. One side is a bedroom/bathroom suite with a comfortable queen size bed and a bathroom (with an awesome standing shower).
On the other side, separated by an exterior door, you'll find a cozy space for dining and relaxing, a couch (with a small fold-out mattress), and a kitchenette.
This means you move from the living room/kitchenette to the bedroom/bathroom by walking outside under the covered patio. While it's a bit unusual, we really enjoy it, and so do 99% of our guests. If you like being outdoors, and enjoy having separate areas for sleeping vs hanging out and cooking, you'll enjoy it too.
The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, a large double sink, an electric cooktop, varied coffee supplies, and all the essential cooking amenities. No need to run to the store just for basics like salt, pepper, or oil. Plus some less basic items, like a variety of Trader Joes spices + emergency snacks. The Blackstone outdoor griddle is a versatile cooking amenity, where you can make a full breakfast spread, delicious fajitas, and really anything in between.
This is a somewhat remote high desert area, with all that entails. There are birds, bugs, and lots of other wildlife around. You may hear coyotes singing late at night or early in the morning.
The last 1.5 miles of the drive are on a maintained dirt road. You don't need 4WD or a lifted vehicle to get here, although you may need it for other areas of Taos.
The guest cabin shares the 10 acres with the main house, where we live. If we're out of town, other guests may be staying in the main house. The cabin and house are well separated by both a large garage and latilla privacy fences.
The cabin is dog friendly, as we have two of our own and know the challenges of traveling with dogs.

Spacious 2,000 sq ft on almost 2 acres: a rural feel, yet only a 20-minute walk to the plaza.
We use this as a ski house in the winter (usually only on weekends). It’s just 45 minutes from the ski valley.
Enjoy gorgeous wood ceilings, great views, quiet surroundings, and wonderful natural light. The house is securely tucked away at the end of a long shared driveway, and an acequia runs along one side of the property.
The home is fully furnished and totally livable: sheets, towels, dishes, a king bed in the master, tables and chairs, couches, dressers, washer/dryer, BBQ grill, and more. The second bedroom features queen bunk beds.

Weekend Trip to Taos Goji Farm & Eco Lodge
A super cute place. The cabins were super clean and the wood stove got so hot! I got to pet some kitties and i saw chickens and there are laundry facilities which come in handy for travelers. There is a book in my cabin with history and a map and instructions. Very helpful, John was so inviting and kind. THANK YOU!!

This location was so much fun! Perfect views, and we were able to have a nice campfire in the morning. Nikki was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The location was gorgeous and in good driving distance of the national forests. Would absolutely visit again!

My boyfriend and I spent one night in one of the cabins on Nikki's land. Facilities were clean and as described and Nikki was excellent at communicating. I would suggest a 4WD car with some clearance, especially if it's raining or snowing because it's a longer drive on a dirt road. Overall great stay!

It’s very peaceful and cozy. My cousin and I had a last minute runaway and we ended up here. Amenities were great too! The scenery is amazing and calming. Definitely staying again. My dog loved it too 🐶 Kudos to dog friendly places! Would be super cute to have dog treats!

This spot was a dream for me. Cabin is comfy but doesn’t feel too small. Master bed is truly wonderful. Adjustable and with a dreamy mattress.
We spent most of the time on the porch painting and reading and playing fetch with our labradoodle, who was in heaven.
We were mostly unaware of neighbors or much nearby activity. Merlin app caught so many new birds.
I hope to return soon.

We had an amazing stay at this Hipcamp. The host is fantastic - welcoming and responsive. The cabin was the sweeeetest! It’s clean, well stocked with lots of extras from fun games to cozy furnishings. We were especially impressed by the little touches, like having salt and pepper in the cabin - things we had forgotten but truly appreciated. The surrounding area was peaceful and stunning, making it the perfect place to relax and recharge. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great escape - we can’t wait to come back!

What a gorgeous cozy secluded cabin in the woods! We had such a great stay. We enjoyed the watching the birds at the feeders, saw Steller’s jays, Mexican jays and magpies to name a few! Very quiet. Loved making fires outside, and using the wood stove inside. Kitchen fully stocked, even has some items you may need like spices, coffee, oil, condiments,… very friendly helpful hosts. Strongly recommend! It was my favorite place we rented during our holiday road trip.

The Taos Goji property truly makes this Hipcamp worth it. There are several community spaces, including two soaking tubs and a sauna, which made our trip. The cabin itself was just enough for comfort. My partner and I were able to cook a meal, though we would recommend bringing your own spices, and enjoyed a cozy evening of soaking in the hot tub and hot veggies. The space is heated through several different elements, and the caretaker was quick to assist us when we got cold. In general, the investment for the duplex cabin seems steep, but if you are able to take time out of your travels to enjoy the property and it's amenities, it quickly holds generous value.
