Clearing Farm

2 sites · Lodging100 acres · Glen Spey, NY
Welcome to Clearing Farm! Our grounds expand over 100 acres with many private hiking trails, a big field and cascading waterfalls. Visit our Instagram @clearingfarm to find out more. Please note while our cabin is a premium experience on a working farm, it is still an outdoor experience that takes place deep in the woods, off the grid and in a cabin built from earthy or recycled materials. It is a far cry from a typical hotel or traditional glamping. This Clearing Farm off-grid cabin is located on our 100+ acre farm. You'll be staying right next to a waterfall and able to enjoy all our land features. Experience a private campsite equipped with a Casper Full Mattress, fire pit and charcoal grill. Please note there is 1 bed at the property but room next to the cabin to bring and put up additional tents. THERE IS NO LONGER THE WOOD BURNING STOVE IN THE CABIN - THE TOWN MADE US TAKE IT OUT.

BeaverWood Farm (no children)

40 sites · RVs, Tents15 acres · Ferndale, NY
We are a 15 acre farm on the shores of Swan Lake with plenty of campsites sites on the property, accommodating tents, mid sized campers and RV's. No children under 16 please. Depending on how crowded we are, privacy varies, but on most weekends you can be out of site of other campers. Many campsites have fire-pits already, but you're welcome to make your own anywhere you'd like. While camping, you may be visited by over 100 friendly, free roaming FARM ANIMALS! (We just had BABY GOATS born in early May and expect more at the end of June!) You may feed the animals anything you bring, but please don't let them eat plastic bags! We cannot offer reimbursement for tents damaged by animals. This is extremely rare, but it CAN happen. If you do not wish to put your tent at risk, please do not camp here. The farm was once an old bungalow colony and has some glass and metal still in the soil. Please wear shoes. Firewood is available at several locations around the farm. There is a heated sink and shower in the back corner of our main camping area. Boats are available at our lakeside dock, so you can boat to our corner store or venture into the wild north end of Swan Lake. There's a tall mountain for hiking and an awesome secret swimming hole, both within a 10 minute drive. Enjoy a child free visit, as we do not allow children under 16 years old. Historical Lake Front Barn

1 site · RV, Tent10 acres · Mendham, NJ
Nestled in the mountainside in Morris County this 10 acre farm estate is home to a plethora of wildlife, small lake, and large brook that runs through the property. The lake is home to native wildlife and the brook is loaded with trout. There are a couple of professionally maintained landscaping areas perfect for camping and firepit. It comes with a firepit, and everything you need for an amazing night out in the wilderness. There are beautiful hiking trails on site as well as right across the way adjacent to the property that are highly regarded in the state. The most secluded property you can imagine, it is home to some truly magnificent wildlife. There is no littering, and absolutely no hunting. As a nature lover, the respect I have shown these animals, is the reason why they love it here. Who knows what you may see! Firewood is available for purchase at the top of the driveway. It is handcut and seasoned for 3 years and stored in a custom hutch. $5 a compartment money goes in the mailbox.

Romantic Autumn Getaway!

1 site · Lodging1 acre · Glen Spey, NY
It's officially Autumn in the Catskill mountains! Come for the weather and the trees! You will drive the most scenic road in the USA to get here! (Route 97, The Hawks Nest, Google it!!) You can shop, explore, hike, or go boating, fishing, or kayaking. Have a BBQ, campfire or take a hike through the public state land trails that I am surrounded by. Expect to see wild animals, and beautiful scenery. Stargazing is a must on a clear night. Short drive to the Delaware river to go white water rafting. You wont be completely isolated...a short 4 mile drive brings you to a small town grocery store for last minute items, and an atm. There is also a famous Buddhist temple in the mountains. (Short drive) Do you want to watch an outdoor play? We have that too. Your ears might pop. The camper is 2300 feet elevated. Expect a curvy mountain drive to get here. I live in a private lake community with a short walk to the lake! You can hike, shop or explore here...then come back to your campsite for a quiet dinner outside, with a campfire. This is a low key, de-stress quiet vibe here. Bring your dog!! You will stay in my camper, or pitch a tent. It's really up to you. My camper has running water, electricity and a toilet and shower. The appliances inside are a camper fridge with a mini freezer, a double burner hotplate, a coffee pot, and a microwave. The camper has a full size bed, and I provide sheets, and towels for you to use. For rainy days, I have board games and books stored in one of the closets, and there is also a radio that is built into the camper that has a great signal. The camper also has pots, pans, cups, plates and silverware, along with utensils to BBQ. I have a firepit that you can cook on an open flame, a charcoal BBQ... or you can use the camper hotplate or microwave. You can bring devices to charge them up, or watch a movie on one of your devices. You will have cell phone service and access to my WiFi upon arrival. My listing is cross listed on other platforms, and most people love it. If you have any further questions, send me a message!
