There is a beautiful hike to a mountain lookout view of an amazing panoramic of lakes and mountains including Mt Washington and Pleasant Ski mountain. From 5 Kezars rd turn right onto Kezars Ridge Drive, the last camp road before the pavement ends.) At 0.6 miles keep right onto 5 Kezar Ponds Road. Look for a GLLT sign on the right. This is the Mountain Trail. There is a second access 0.5 miles farther west on 5 Kezar Ponds Road for Ron’s Loop. Here is a link for all Lovell Land trust trails: https://www.gllt.org/five-kezars-reserve 2 Local waterfalls only 2 miles away. Drive back out to 5 Kezars road. Take a right on the paved road. It will turn back into dirt. Keep on this road until you see a beautiful stone house on your left. Keep going just up the hill and you will see a right turn into the woods where you can park. There are no signs for Kezar gorge. Hike towards the sound of the falls. There is a small cave under the falls you can climb up into if you are a strong swimmer. There is a second set of falls if you hike down the river. A most magical spot for sure. Virginia lake is in the White Mountain National forest and is only 6 miles (n a ten minute drive away) Sometimes you have to hike in a bit to get to the beach. Shallow beach is great for children and dogs. Keewayden Lake Dam is a fun place to swim in a local lake. The tent is 4 feet off the ground. You will need to lift yourself into it. Please remove shoes before entering the tent. THERE ARE NO AMENITIES This is a dry campsite. There are no showers or toilets. There is an outhouse and a 5 gal PROPANE shower. (You will need a small canister of propane). 5 gallons of water is provided. There is a very large pot for boiling water if needed. There is a fire ring with a grill, a picnic table, 2 reclining camp chairs, a Gazebo, and a Tree Tent. A trolly is provided to carry your belongings as it is a short hike uphill to the site. No cooking or sleeping supplies are available. You must bring your own bedding, cooler, cooking utensils, wood and small propane canister. (We have sleeping bags if you forget your own and a spare mattress for the gazebo upon request). ***PLEASE LEAVE NO TRACE AND TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YOU*** It is recommended to arrive before dark on your first night of camping. Campsite check in from 12:00 pm on arrival day. Check out time 11:00 am on departure day. Bug spray is highly recommended. Bring a flashlight. The campsite is on a hill and is very rough, uneven ground and there are protruding rocks and tree roots. Please use caution when walking around the property. My husband, myself, and our two dogs had a blast during our stay! We didn’t even go anywhere because we were having such a great time just exploring the property/nearby trails. It was a little cold at night but the heat in the RV kept us toasty and we had an endless supply of firewood for the days! We used the kitchen to cook our meals and there seriously was everything and more that we could’ve needed. Our dogs especially enjoyed the waterfall - there were quite a few people on the trail the first day we walked there but significantly less the second day. Highly recommend staying here! There was lots of privacy and nature, a little cell service for texts but not streaming which for us was exactly what we wanted. A truly fantastic getaway for a few days.

I had a great stay at Ryegate. The cabin was warm and homey, a nice break from camping when the rain and cold arrived. Jessica was welcoming, communicative and responsive. She provided good information about the stay and was kind enough to let me use the shower in the farmhouse, which was much appreciated. The cabin really has all you need... shelter, a cozy bed, a microwave, fridge, and coffee station. Sitting on the front porch with coffee overlooking the river and the mountain tree line is a wonderful way to spend a peaceful morning! The cabin is decorated very cute, which is a nice bonus. Note: You need to be up for a bit of outdoor life ... like using an outhouse and washing dishes in a sink outside. It isn't primitive but it is glamping.

This was an amazing getaway. The cabin had everything you could need. Craig and his family were really hospitable. Always kept great communication. The cabin is insulated and kept us warm throughout the night. Craig gave us extra blankets and was kind enough to set up the hot water shower for us. The instructions to get there were pretty exact. The location is amazing. 15 minutes to Franconia Notch. Quick 5 minute drive to downtown Littleton. Lots of options to eat there and Bethelem. (Try the skirt steak at El Mirador Restaurant or the Thai Donuts at Taste the Thai). A power generator is available in the cabin for charging your stuff as well.

Such a cool spot! The area is absolutely beautiful, plenty of spots nearby to explore. We loved falling asleep under the stars and waking up to animals grazing nearby. The camper has a solar-powered battery so you are able to use the lights and the slide out for more space. *Note that power outlets do not work.* There is currently no water hooked up, but there is a spring up the road across from Newark Pond, a lovely spot for swimming or kayaking.
