Harvey’s Hill is a private hilltop campsite with 360° sky views, unbeatable stargazing, and access to our rustic Cantina featuring bathrooms, warm running water, and a basic kitchen. Just 10 minutes off the highway in Epping, NH, it’s the perfect stopover or peaceful escape.
Harvey's Hill has been a beloved part of Epping for generations. In the summer, you might see small planes taking off from the hilltop airstrip or locals walking their dogs up to catch the sunset. In the fall, my aunt Erica makes donuts down in the Milk Room, and in the winter, the hill fills with sledders racing down its snowy slope.
Many celebrations have taken place here over the years, including weddings, reunions, and picnics.
The Cantina is a new addition to the top of the hill. It includes three bathrooms, a kitchen, and electricity. While simple and minimalist, these amenities make the site more comfortable, and we hope they enhance your stay.

Once a stream-fed sawmill, this tented camp site is a large private camp surrounded by water on 2 sides so it's cool on hot summer days, and a perfect spot to relax and unwind to the sound of the water rushing over the rocks under a blanket of stars.
You can walk up the street to a local farm store for delicious local groceries or go hiking and foraging in the woods of the local town forest up the street.

Our camp is a private grassy lot on a brook with plenty of privacy surrounded by a forest. We provide a large 6-8 person covered dome tent, one covered food prep table area, electricity, two cooking/ fire pits, a pet enclosure and an outhouse. We have tiki torch fuel and firewood for sale. Max # of guests is 10 total.
We really don't have the space for any pull-behind trailers other than very tiny units and ask that guests be 16 or older as we are on the water.

Fantastic pitch next to the cantina on top of the hill. Amazing views, wild turkeys roaming and little fishing pond. Cider apple donuts for sale on site down the track. Cantina has toilets, kitchen (no stove) and water. Wash room with hot showers at the house down the hill. Brilliant place to stay.

We absolutely loved staying here! So many good things to say! Camping with THREE bathrooms with HOT water!! Directions to site were clear. Everything as described. Grass was nice and short at the site, which we appreciated. We were even able to find a 100% level spot without using our maxtrax which is also unheard of! The fields to the left and right side of the site had the corn harvested before we got there. While we were there, we got to see the field across be harvested which was pretty cool! The landing strip is also no joke, do not park near it. There was a plane that came by twice as what I’ll describe as doing a practice landing. It came down low to the runway as if it was going to land but didn’t. It was extremely cool to see! But shewwww felt close!

Maudie was delightful and very well organized for a quick check in. Our campsite was wonderful. Private, quiet, lovely foliage and a very dark sky for stargazing! Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Thank you for sharing such a great spot on your property.

Great secluded spot. Felt private even though the road was nearby. The river was great. It was low but still had plenty of current and exploring it was fun. Nice amenities with the option of the tent. Outhouse was small but clean and had no odor.
Only feedback would be that the host did not respond through the hipcamp messaging. I had to call with the number provided after i booked it.

It is very difficult to express in words the beauty and serenity of the Camp Jack Orchard campsite. It is exactly the experience I was hoping for. While very secluded within timber and farmland, there is easy access to nearby towns and local activities.

My husband and I camped here for two night and enjoyed every minute of it. The campsite was spacious and beautiful, located next to a large apple orchard. On our second night there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and we enjoyed a splendid starry night sky with virtually no light pollution. Check in and check out we’re easy, and Maudie made sure we had all the essentials we need for a campfire, water, etc. We will definitely return!

What a great spot!! Perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. Having access to the sky-can was awesome! It had flushing toilets, a sink to wash dishes, a mini fridge and a toaster/air fryer oven! The spot is super roomy and has pinic tables too. I highly recommend this site.

This was a beautiful spot to camp for a couple of nights -- a large open field with lots of sunshine, yet very private, and trails in the nearby woods for taking a hike. It was also great to have our dogs with us. Close to the White Mountains and to Littleton. Hosts were great at communicating with us about directions and instructions for the site. Highly recommend!!!
