This is a groovy little spot where the power lines meet. Located a block away from Treasure RV Park on Highway 160 just north of Pahrump, NV. You can visit Treasures just across the streetMark’s restaurant AAA+ food, gambling, and the bowling alley right across the street, and still return easily to this private lot. Treasures is a great little oasis to visit, and a short walk back to camp and have more privacy then staying directly on treasures site and avoiding vehicle age requirements.There are cactus ,sage, river rock and an old desert tortoise you might spot named Mort on the property. It’s a small plot of land but it will fit up to you a 45 foot bus or a truck and longer trailer. Tranqvillium was purchased in 2016 with the intention of creating Gaia Earthen Technologies Sustainable Living Educational and Research Center. Construction started in 2016 and now we have our first temporary building and working on the others. The daily operation is run by Tranqvillium, an intentional community of people who don't like to spend their money on rent and utility bills.Learn more about this land:The location is about an hour west of Las Vegas in the California Mojave Desert. Even though the lights of Vegas are visible on the Eastern horizon, above Tranqvillium there is no light pollution and the entirety of the visible part of the Milky Way is shining down on us. Tecopa Hot Springs is 30 min West from us, along with China Ranch date farm. From China ranch it's a 40 min hike through Mars like terrain to a swimming hole complete with a small waterfall, where the Amargosa River comes above ground. The ancient lake bed where Tranqvillium is located is surrounded by medium height mountains, which are perfect for rock scrambling, and the world famous Red Rock climbing site is nearby too. The place is very rugged and is recommended for experienced campers who are not taken aback by wilderness living.

This is a great spot in a secluded tiny town in the middle of the desert. I can’t say anything negative about our stay. We enjoyed seeing the nearby Ash Meadows nature preserve just after the New Year. We saw the endangered Pupfish at the Point of Rock’s site! Zanchary’s place is the closest we could get to explore the nature preserve. His place is well kept, and he was a great host. We booked one of the rv sites, and had everything we needed. We are looking forward to coming back someday! Campers beware, there is no gas station or store in town. We cut it uncomfortably close to get to Pahrump, which is just over 20 miles from the site, and we had a full tank in Vegas. If you’re pulling a rig, make sure you are filled up before you get too far into the desert. Gas options are very limited! My Jeep gets 10mpg pulling a trailer, so I was sweating it.

This little homestead was perfect for us. We don’t need or want to stay at places where your neighbor is breathing down your neck. Here we had privacy, everything we needed, and it was close to the strip. We had a great two night stay and would highly recommend it. We will be back!

Jeffry’s Farm was a very convenient location for our needs. It is under a flight path, but we found this not to be a problem. Evenings were fairly peaceful and we actually enjoyed watching the planes come in during the day. Parking area was fairly flat and easy to get in and out of. We would stay here again if in the area.

Pleasantly surprised by how well organized, secure, and clean this park was. The office staff accepts mail and packages. The entrance is staffed 24/7. Yes, it's asphalt with fairly snug sites but it's an urban park so get used to it. But there are lots of palm trees to green things up and several dog runs plus a big public dog park not 2 miles away.

If your concern is having a quiet and peaceful RV park in Vegas that also has 24/7 security, this is it. When my wife and I were there, we actually left the RV for over 24 hours while we watched the sunset in Santa Monica. Not once did I feel the need to check the security systems in place on the RV. When we came back later on (1 am) the security guard on duty stood right up and ready. A pretty safe and quiet place. The price is actually good with all hookups and being in Vegas as well. Think we paid $45 daily for out 23ft RV? Planned on staying 2 nights and we stayed 5 instead. Not bad at all.

What a great spot! I can’t guarantee this place enough as a jumping off or landing pad for a Grand Canyon trip. The RV hookups are easy to find and use. The full working bathroom was an added bonus. Arrival instructions were super clear. No issues the entire stay, but the hosts were available for questions and helpful.

Space was big enough for us, groomed, and flat. Firewood included but we did not have a fire that night.
