This is a groovy little spot where the power lines meet. Located a block away from Treasure RV Park on Highway 160 just north of Pahrump, NV. You can visit Treasures just across the streetMark’s restaurant AAA+ food, gambling, and the bowling alley right across the street, and still return easily to this private lot. Treasures is a great little oasis to visit, and a short walk back to camp and have more privacy then staying directly on treasures site and avoiding vehicle age requirements.There are cactus ,sage, river rock and an old desert tortoise you might spot named Mort on the property. It’s a small plot of land but it will fit up to you a 45 foot bus or a truck and longer trailer. We spent a week at this resort. Upon arrival, we went to our site to get settled in and noted we didn’t have a picnic table (all the other sites did, and we had a Deluxe space). We let the front gate know and they said they would have one to us the next day. Once week later and no picnic table. The only other issue is the dog park. Long term/permanent residents apparently are under the impression they don’t need to pick up after their dogs. More than once we collected others waste only to return later do find more. I watched several “residents” leave the park with fresh waste present. If you happen to get a space with a parking lot light, enjoy the night long night light!

Excellent stay at Gil Ranch! I had the opportunity to be the first to stay in the casita and highly recommend. It’s brand new and the cleanest stay I’ve ever experienced! It was well stocked and had everything that I needed. I slept like a baby. Very comfortable bed and nice linens. The walls are connected to their main house in case that is an issue for someone else. Great family and very friendly- highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this location! It was quiet, extremely well maintained, close to all of the Las Vegas attractions that we wanted to see and fully staffed. We loved the nice laundry facility and the clubhouse area. While we were there, there was a potluck/cookout that was a lot of fun. We were able to have some packages shipped to the office to stock up on supplies, which was a huge help to us since we are always on the road. We definitely hope to stay again when we are back in Las Vegas!

Red Rock Canyon is an absolutely beautiful place. We did some hiking and climbing while we were there. Being from the east coast, the climbing out here is super cool. There are tons of great hikes, climbs, and lots of great scenery here. It's a true treasure of a park.

Red rock canyon was a beautiful scenic drive. My boyfriend and I love climbing on rocks and they had multiple trails that allowed for this. We got beautiful pictures and there was even hiking trails you could do! Highly recommend visiting.
