Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Escape to a secluded, private 2.5-acre campsite with RV pull-through access just a quarter mile from the Old Spanish Trail Highway. The campsite is conveniently located off a well-maintained dirt road, offering easy access for two-wheel drive vehicles, and sits on a well-marked corner lot just 1,000 feet away from vast BLM land for off-roading and hiking. NOTE: This site was recently leveled and you can park at either entrances to the campsite if the dirt is too soft. Explore nearby trails that lead to breathtaking mountain views including the snow-capped peaks of Mount Charleston in winter and the stunning Nopah Mountain Range to the west. It’s the perfect overnight stop before heading out to explore the wonders of Death Valley.Enjoy quality time with family and friends at this spacious campsite, complete with a built-in fire pit for cozy campfires (subject to weather conditions), and plenty of room for games like cornhole. The site is 53 miles from Las Vegas, 30 miles from Pahrump, and just 28 miles from the soothing waters of Tecopa Hot Springs. With direct access to off-roading trails, hiking, and mountain biking, adventure awaits right from your doorstep in Charleston View, California! This site was recently leveled and cleared and the dirt may be too soft and loose for a two-wheel drive car until the first rains of the season can compact it down. If these are the conditions you can park your car on the road and walk in. Please note that the site is primitive - no toilets or water are provided - so guests must bring their own supplies. The location is ideal for RVs, trailers, sprinter vans, or tent camping. Follow the "pack in, pack out" principle to keep the area pristine. Book now for an unforgettable stargazing experience in the wide-open desert sky!
