Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This secluded campsite is within walking distance (a quarter mile) from the Old Spanish Trail Highway off a maintained dirt road for easy two-wheel drive car access, on a well-marked corner lot only 1,000 feet to BLM land and trails that lead to mountains and scenic vistas. In winter, you’ll have a clear view of snow-capped Mount Charleston to the north and the Nopah Mountain Range to the west.Have a campfire, roast smores, play cornhole and relax with family and friends on this large 2.5 acre private campsite all to yourself located 53 miles outside of Las Vegas, 30 miles from Pahrump and 28 miles to Tecopa Hot Springs. With off-roading trails, hiking and mountain biking accessible from the property, you’ll have a weekend of fun and adventure in Charleston View, California! CURRENTLY ONLY 4 WHEEL DRIVE ACCESS. This site was recently leveled and the dirt may be too soft and loose for a two-wheel drive car until the first rains of the season can compact it down. If these are the conditions you can park your car on the road and walk in. We are in the process of adding gravel and compacting the dirt for all vehicle-types access. There is a built-in fire pit in the center of the site and campfires are allowed but may not be permitted during high wind / warm weather conditions. There are no toilets or water so campers will need to bring their own accommodations. RVs, trailers and sprinter vans work great for this site but tent camping is fine. Pack in and pack out policy applies. Relax under the stars and book this large, private site today.

Great quiet spot for a night or two. Dark skies abound so the stars are amazing & ya never know what you may see fly by… There are neighbors who were very friendly that came to check on me since I was alone :) Be careful of desert roads, monsoon season & rains can cause issues out in the open desert regardless of place.
