Today, the farm is looking forward to a new course in agri tourism as we begin planning walking gardens, art installations in the landscape, and interactive classes.

Tiny home nestled in Tahoe National forest . This little gem is on an acre of land surrounded by national forest land. Close enough to Lake Tahoe but away from the chaos.
Host lives on property with 4 year old German shepherd. I typically leave for the weekend, however i will probably be there if booking during the week (Ill be gone most of the day though) . There are 4 neighbors but their properties are not visible, feels very private. Please be respectful of the neighbors property, they all have cameras :)
The front of the property where the cabin is located there will be some highway noise being close to highway 20 , especially during a busy weekend.
Tiny house:
•Full sized futon downstairs, no bedding provided please bring your own if planning on using the futon.
• King sized mattress in loft. Bedding provided but please try to bring your own!!
• board games , cards, chess, fire pit, projector for movies if requested!!!

Enjoy how easy it is to set up a camp site on Hipcamp app, I enjoy the camps and Windy is a great host, I ranch is a beautiful setting and is very peaceful, quiet and with great nature and surroundings views are spectacular with big sky to view the stars at night.

Weekend Trip to Tramway near Heavenly/ Dogs OK/ New Heating & Air
The cabin was great, it’s a duplex with another unit next door. It’s features modern amenities as well as a bunch of things to make you feel at home away from home. We especially enjoyed the outside heater on the lower balcony when we were cold and wanted to enjoy our time outside. Rolin and his mom were very gracious hosts if there was a rating above 5 stars I would absolutely rate them above 5 they were very responsive with our issues and made sure we felt welcome and part of the family can’t wait to stay here again.

I had a wonderful time here. The site feels very private and it is overlooking a very beautiful scene. The instructions were super clear. The road up was rough but I did fine with a regular cargo/work van. Check in with the host if you're unsure! It was great and I would happily come back.

Jane is great. Great dogs on the property and a nice walking area for our dogs on leash. Camping in the orchard was peaceful, and we were close to the ports-potties and the fire ring. The evening and morning sky were beautiful and we bought a strawberry rhubarb pie!

I always look for safe solo camping options off the interstate that feel better than some dispersed pull outs. This was perfect! It was very quiet, even with other campers nearby. Just make sure to follow the written directions for how to arrive. The coordinates take you most of the way but follow how Wendy describes the entrance to her property so as not to disturb neighbors.

Amazing and very spacious camp site! My friends and I spent 2 nights here and really appreciated how much space we had to run around. The different levels allowed for privacy when we wanted to take a nap while also felt intimate when we spent time cooking, stargazing, and sitting around the campfire. Highly recommend for large groups.

Perfect if you’re visiting Apple Hill Farms! The site in the middle of the forest is beautiful, clean, and ready for camping. However, it is not actually on Harris Farm—it’s across a busy road. Because of that, it doesn’t really feel like you’re staying on the farm; it feels more like dispersed camping, which we actually enjoyed.
Only the two sites located in the orchard are directly on the farm.
The host and farm workers are very friendly and welcoming, and they make you feel right at home. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
