We invite you to enjoy our organic vegetable seed farm with its trees, nearby water, and abundant wildlife. You’ll see pelicans, turtles, herons, and other creatures, plus a few non-poisonous bullsnakes that help keep the mice at bay. We are experienced farmers, and Nathan is a master naturalist who can lead hikes at nearby sites, including the Wildcat Hills. We also offer our farm products—grass-fed hamburger, garlic, and vegetable seeds—available for sale year-round. Seasonal vegetables and eggs may also be available. Throughout the year, we host special events through the Living Environment Foundation. Our largest gatherings include the Ancestral Skills Festival in August and the Seed Fest in autumn. This is a century farm, and the barn you’ll see on the property is over 100 years old and still in great condition. These are also the ancestral lands of the Lakota tribe.
