The Mooseshroom is an awesome camping community that is just 7 miles from the west side of Glacier National Park. Community fire pits near the Commons are a short walk from whichever tent spot guests are assigned. The Commons also houses the bathrooms and inside/outside kitchen areas. There is plenty of seating, hammocks and picnic tables for guests to use as well. We also have two yurts available for booking on our property. The Mooseshroom is a licensed business that is limited to hosting 18 guests per night. Guests should expect a quiet, peaceful camping experience with plenty of room to enjoy their surroundings. ***This property is adjacent Highway 2 and there is a fair amount of road noise. There's also a train that's fairly close. The noise kinda comes with the territory, guests are also 10 minutes from the west entrance to the park. The noise does tend to subside considerably at night, but for those bothered by this type of noise, you might consider an alternate location. Most guests are truly fine with it.

We are located on 40 acres that include forested trails, a large pond, two small ponds, a creek, and frequent wildlife as well as spectacular stargazing at night. All sites have a campfire ring and picnic table. We provide a unique eco-camping experience in contrast to the crowded campground/RV park, and we are only 6 miles away from the entrance to Glacier National Park! Please let us know if you have multiple tents or vehicles as some sites may be a better choice for you than others. No hookups are provided – dry camping only. Parking for larger vehicles/trailers is available at sites 1-6 - an open, flat meadow with the pond on the other side of the road. Tents are welcome in all sites; although, we recommend the back meadow sites (7 and up) for more secluded tent campers (especially in July) as it has less traffic and more privacy. Sites 7-20 (the back meadow sites) have parking for vehicles 26' or less in total length. All sites have access to vault toilets, and all sites are back-in sites with partial shade. Because of the proximity to Glacier National Park and the main HWY, traffic noise and train noise can be heard at the campsites. Visitors are ask to keep their speed to a minimum to reduce dust on the dirt on Greens Road. We are just a short bike ride away (two minutes by car) from attractions such as the Whiskey Barn, The Paul Bunyan Bar & grill, Glacier Hi-Line Ropes Course, and the Amazing Fun Center, maze, and mini golf. It is also easy access to the Gateway to Glacier Bike path. E-bike rentals are across the street from us. Closest Gas station is the Cenex in Coram (1.5 mi away). Closest public (free) landfill dump is 2.2 miles toward Columbia Falls at 9626 Us HWY 2 E. Near Paul Bunyan Bar and Grill (which is also a good restaurant near us). Look for the gated entry and small sign marking Flathead Landfill. Closest grocery is in Hungry Horse at Canyon Foods Grocery (3.5 miles away). There is a laundromat next to this grocery store. Closest dump and water fill up for a vehicle with a holding tank is Mikes Conoco at 1645 9th st W in Columbia Falls (8.9 mi away). Closest town with wifi, cafes, restaurants, urgent care and larger grocery stores is Columbia Falls (9 miles away). Bodhi Farms is a 35 acre organic, permaculture farm nestled up against the Gallatin Mountains on the outskirts of Bozeman, Montana with a beautiful creek running through it. Through the spring, summer and fall seasons on the farm you’ll find activities that include open air nordic tipi yoga, farm stay activities, a wood fired sauna, guided onsite and offsite fly fishing excursions as well as an outdoor creekside farm-to-table restaurant. Excursions are nearly unlimited with abundant day trips to include fly fishing, mountain biking, hiking, rafting, not to mention Yellowstone National Park just an 80 mile beautiful drive away. We offer nine glamping tipis that are carefully placed alongside our creek, offering privacy and a truly authentic lodging experience. Five of our tipis offer king beds and four of them feature two twin beds. Extra cots are available as each tipi has a maximum occupancy of 4 people. These nine tipis share two full luxe tipi bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers. Such a spectacular place to stay!! Just what I needed. Not only is it beautiful on the inside, the bed is INSANELY comfortable (heated blanket was super helpful during a 30 something degree night), and the view in the morning is breathtaking. Pictures don't do it justice. There's everything you need in the tent. I would highly HIGHLY recommend Lynda's property!

I loved staying here. About 1.5 hours south of Missoula in the Bitterroot mountains lies this wonderful camp. It is surrounded by trees, trails, and mountains. Finding it was very easy, checking in was simple and communication was awesome. The photos and small touches of hospitality do not do this space justice. Come for relaxation and amenities, watch the stars at night, and stay warm by the fire. I was blown away and cannot wait to return.

Weekend Trip to Oxen-Le-Fields Montana

We spent 2 incredible nights at Oxen Le Fields. Lynda greeted us upon arriving and her kind and friendly demeanor set a great tone for the trip. We enjoyed driving up to Sula peak and exploring the Bitterroot Valley. The bed was super comfortable and we had a blast being able to camp comfortably on a cool fall weekend. Our last morning we woke up to beautiful snow covered fields and mountains. It was so cozy in the tent, Lynda made sure we had plenty of firewood and the stove and electric blankets kept us very warm. Would highly recommend staying here!

Weekend Trip to A Canyon Stay with Mini A-frame

Absolutely beautiful property. Thoughtful accommodations(games, solar powered flashlight/radio, books, hiking poles). Truly a wonderful experience. We didn’t encounter any bears but we did get to see a few deer. I recommend getting there during the light hours so you can find your way. Easy to follow instruction. Hosts are responsive and welcoming. Propane fire pit was a nice bonus. Our indoor heater was out of propane but we were comfortable. Bathroom and shower are down a little ways from the a-frame but not a bad walk. Definitely set up for a camper ready for a little glamp :)

We loved our stay in the tube site! It was perfect for us, since we flew in and didn’t want to travel with much camping gear. Plus it’s bear proof! The on-site mercantile had everything you might need, including coffee, bear spray, solar showers, and firewood. Jake was super accommodating and even heated up water for our forest shower a couple of times. The location was also perfect for accessing the park, and we enjoyed free coffee (with our own cup) each morning. We recommend Josephine’s for dinner just down the road.

Terri’s Yurt and hospitality made for a perfect base camp on our trip to Glacier National Park! The yurt and common areas were clean, comfortable, and well-kept. For two adults with a pretty significant amount of hiking gear, we felt like we had plenty of space. The quick drive to the west entrance of the park was a huge plus! Highly recommended!
