Please join us at our beautiful farm located on the lower Spring River just outside Hardy, AR. We have a 3+ acre river lot for dry camping or boondocking. Calico Camp is a lovely, shady spot on private property about 2 miles from Calico Rock Main Street and the White River. Rich in history and great fishing. Bring your boat and kayak. Or, you can rent one in town. There are fishing guides available, too.
I moved here in 2016 from Atlanta, Georgia. I actually lived in an RV in a beautiful park for several years there. And, loved it! I thought I was going to do that here, but changed my mind when I found this sweet little house on a couple of acres. Deer visit us, and bunnies make their homes here. I have cats and dogs of my own.

Turn from Hwy. 56 can be tricky for big rigs because of a ditch at Jones Street. Left hand turn is easier than right hand turn.
You can use the parking lot across the street to help you back your rig into the campsite. We have permission from the owner to do that.
There is room for your boat, too. Pets are welcome. Close to grocery, bank, gas.
The White River is famous for its trout fishing. Deer hunting in the area, too. (Not on this property.)
The hookups are on the left side (right side if you back in). You may need extensions for your power and sewer. I have them available, if you don’t have your own.

I also have additional acreage where you could pick your own spot to set up.
No overhead lighting, so nothing to block your night sky views.
This is off grid, so no power, water is in container at site, fire ring provided, you either bring or buy wood by the bundle. Peaceful and quiet. Pets must be kept on leash or contained at all times. Plenty of room to go walk for miles if desired.
Road out here is private, not County maintained, please drive slow.
Rooster crows as he pleases, lol. Goats do their own talking as well.
If you want to run a generator, please turn off by 9pm.

The small rural town of Van Buren, Missouri is 1 mile away for supplies. A must see is Big Springs in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways Park 3 miles away. Other nearby attractions is floating the Current River, Alley Springs, Blue Springs, Rocky Falls, Peck Ranch and more.
Full hook up (water/elec/sewer/trash) located on County Road Harner Holler in Van Buren, Missouri. A total of 4 RV/tent sites are on the property. Sites listed are 136A and 136 B, which are on a shared acre. The other two sites are approximately 50 yards away, 209 Harner Hollow being one of these sites and 112 Harner Hollow. The total property area is 30 acres with rarely any traffic on the country road. 209 and 112 are premier sites with limited availability.
Note: A large Class A RV would not be able to make the curve in the county road.

Two Roots Ridge is a small developing mother-daughter homestead located on a quiet ridge near Hardy, Arkansas in the Spring River Country community, in the beautiful Ozark Mountains (Ozark Plateaus).
Our property offers simple, peaceful camping for travelers looking to slow down, enjoy nature, and experience a quiet rural setting.
Guests may stay in RV, van, or tent sites tucked into our wooded ridge property. The land is still a work in progress as we continue building and improving the homestead, so visitors should expect a rustic, honest setup rather than a fully developed campground.
We do offer electric and water hookups, along with a shower tent and porta-potty facilities for guest use.
The property is surrounded by woods, wildlife, and the natural sounds of the Ozarks. Evenings bring starry skies, quiet country nights, and the peaceful rhythm of rural life.
We also operate a small cottage bakery on the property called Two Roots Rising, and fresh baked goods may occasionally be available during your stay. Our chickens also keep us stocked with farm fresh eggs, which are sometimes available from our small homestead stand when the girls are laying well.

Located on a 100% off grid homestead, just minutes outside Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Completely private road, 4 tenths of a mile off the blacktop. Secluded, quiet, private road.
7 minutes to 3 lakes in Horseshoe Bend, and the Strawberry River. 20 minutes to Spring River, that flows down from Mammoth Spring, excellent fishing, and float/kayak river.
16 minutes to small Hospital if needed. Walmart and many restaurants same distance.
I have 3 sites to tent camp. I can also accommodate a small motorhome, van or car dwellers. #3 is all set up, with tent on covered site. 2 cots with sleeping pads, fire pit, composting toilet, container with water. Just bring yourself, a sleeping bag and any personal or camping items, #2 has the tent platform, bring your own gear, and #3 you'd need to carry your gear a block and a half to reach the back corner of my property, and have all the privacy you could possibly want.
I also have additional acreage where you could pick your own spot to set up.
No overhead lighting, so nothing to block your night sky views.
This is off grid, so no power, water is in container at site, fire ring provided, you either bring or buy wood by the bundle. Peaceful and quiet. Pets must be kept on leash or contained at all times. Plenty of room to go walk for miles if desired.
Road out here is private, not County maintained, please drive slow.
Rooster crows as he pleases, lol. Goats do their own talking as well.
If you want to run a generator, please turn off by 9pm.
This is a working homestead, always animal sounds, and work projects going on.

We had a great time camping on Teresa's land. It has all the hookups you need and more! Very peaceful remote area, but still close enough to Van Buren that fetching any forgotten supplies is a breeze. She was also very kind, suggesting locations, offering advise, and even getting us some extra fire wood. One thing of note is to not listen to your GPS when arriving and actually read Teresa's email with detailed directions. Lol Otherwise you end up down her neighbor's driveway and look like an idiot. 😂

When we got there, she welcomed us and told us the best restaurants in the area and sites to see and answered any questions we had. She offered free firewood. Her land was right off the main highway, but had minimal traffic noise. It was just a few miles away from big Spring, a must see!

This was my first solo camp with my dog and it was the perfect spot! Loved having a spot all to myself. I wasn’t sure how much firewood I would need and Susan made sure I was taken care of. Also loved the firewood was locked away from the elements but also easy to access and having electricity out there was great! Rocky falls is two miles down the road and is beautiful of course (has restrooms also). I had the most amazing time and look forward to frequenting this site!

We reserved the entire Williams camp for float trip group and it worked great! Had 4 campers setup and half dozen tents. Water and electric worked great also! Floated the eleven point river with Hufstedlars outfit. They were able to pickup/dropoff at our location, which is clutch, nobody had to drive after the float. It was really nice to have a place for our group all by ourselves, very secluded but still easily accessible. Phone service was 50/50 for some of us, but personally my phone worked well the entire time while at the campsite. You are definitely in the woods, so be ready with the bug spray and tick prevention. Overall, my group of 18 had a great experience here, we would def reserve this again when we come back to the 11pt River.
