The pasture is quite visible from Old Route 66, nearly adjoining it. Therefore people traveling “the Mother Road” find it convenient to stay with us. Grass is the best forage for horses, especially older ones, so we take care of our pastures, making for beautiful scenery for campers, too. Plus the entire back mile is bordered by old forest. And there is a swimming hole not a half mile away. This is a quiet and private site, bordered by a neighbor's old forest on back, other neighbor's cattle pasture on side, and you're in one of the pastures used by the Horse Sanctuary. (You are camping about 1/4 mile, more or less, from our house.) We regularly see coyote, wild turkeys, deer, fireflies, and the like.   We are just 1/2 mile off Old Route 66, therefore there are quirky little museums and great restaurants (for such a rural area!).   Plus we are only about an hour's drive from Branson. MO. which is a known tourist attraction.

The site is quite nice, situated in private, quiet woods. All the facilities, power, water etc are clean and worked great with no issues. I didn't find the general location to be the most inspiring, but it's near the highway with easy access to all the trails in the Bentonville area, so can't really complain. Good basecamp for biking. The host Red was very responsive and everything went smoothly. Overall, do recommend!

Really great option for mountain bikers visiting the area! I'd say Bentonville Bike Camp is best for those with RVs; the sites are pretty close together. Despite this, I found that everyone was very respectful and it's super quiet at night. And it's super close to downtown Bentonville. Highly recommend!

Red and Judy had a warm greeting for us when we pulled in and showed us where everything was. The place is well laid out for connecting everything, firewood split and waiting at our site. The 3 bath houses are the best! Nice hot showers and a clean bathroom with sink and mirror is an amazing thing to come back to after a day of sweating in bike shorts. The facility is new and awesome and Red is still making improvements. Put more stone and a bunch of fresh mulch down while we were there. It's obvious they care a lot about the campers. The 1/2 mile loop trail is a fun little time trial and would be great at night with a light kit. See ya again soon, Red!

This is a fabulous place to camp. It is close to the mountain bike trails, Bentonville and Bella Vista. At the same time you feel miles away in the country. Nice hot showers, big flush toilets, and bike wash station. My site was a 50 amp HUGE site. My camper is a 30 amp, but they had a dog bone to convert it for me. I had mine with me. It was nice and quiet at night.

Weekend Trip to Farm Stay Retreat MTB Back 40

Our first Hipcamp experience set the bar dangerously high thanks to Fox Hill Farms. Right out of the gate, the hosts upgraded us to a better campsite—bold move, because now I expect that everywhere. They were incredibly responsive, answered all my questions (there were a lot), and made everything feel effortless. The site itself was perfect: water and electricity hookups, tucked away from the road so it’s quiet and peaceful, but still close enough to everything in Bentonville. If you’re into mountain biking, this place is basically cheating. Back 40 Trail is literally across the street—you can roll straight from camp to trail. They even have a bike wash station and an outdoor shower, which is exactly what you want after a long, dusty ride. We came to ride, and Day 1 delivered immediate chaos—my kid bent his front wheel. But the hosts didn’t hesitate for a second—they jumped in and offered help like it was no big deal. Absolute legends. They also gave us a tour of their Airbnbs—beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and clearly done right. We originally planned to stay 4 nights… and ended up staying an extra night because we were enjoying it that much. Between the location, setup, and next-level hospitality, this place is a no-brainer. We’ll definitely be back… hopefully with a rounder wheel next time 😄

Kevin and his wife have done a fantastic job providing a wonderful home away from home. The accommodations were perfect for us to pull our R.V. into place and feel at home with the campfire against the hill, quick access to mountain bike trail across the street, far enough away from the hustle of the town but minutes away from everything. We used this as a hub to launch an epic mountain bike adventure. We will be back again!!! Thank you so much Kevin for you hospitality!!! Wish you many successes in your hosting endeavor!!! This is a must, go to for anyone wanting a great location with full access to all of what the area offers!

Weekend Trip to Farm Stay Retreat MTB Back 40

This was our second stay here, and just as great as the first. The Back 40 Trailhead is literally across the street, so this is a great location if you want to mountain bike some fun trails. The host is good with their communication and the site has everything you might need. It’s a well thought out layout on a pretty piece of property. Thanks again!

We stayed for three nights in early December. The property is on a quiet road, yet under 15 minutes to downtown. Jason and Julie have created a full service setting, complete with toilets, showers, dump station, and water. We stayed at site 8 by the barn, which was perfect for our 27 ft rv, and nearly level. Bentonville enchanted us. As road bikers, we used the Razorback Greenway and biked from Fayatville back toward Bentonville (Fayatville is also a gem). Jason and Julie were very easy to communicate with and incredibly accommodating. They went out of their way to help us with a something that could have been a challenge. They are great hosts. Recommend this location 100%!

"Great" As a good view not too far from good entertainment, has an open view good, clean fresh air. Justin really gos out of his way to make sure you are pleased with your stay. It stays kept up on and maintained very nice.
