Edgewater Beach Resort is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. There are 2 RV sites at Edgewater that are located just a few feet from the water's edge. Lake Taneycomo is a cold- water lake that is famous for trout fishing. The resort has 3 docks that you can fish off of. You can also fish anywhere along the water's edge. Each RV site has water, sewer, and electric hookups, wifi, a private picnic table, and a private firepit/ grill. The sites are separated by a privacy fence for the utmost privacy. The resort has boat rentals, a fish cleaning station, an outdoor pool that is open from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend, a playground, and a laundry room. I also have boat slips available to rent for $20 a night. The resort is next to Empire Park which has lots of fishing spots, a playground, a disc golf course, and walking trails. Not far away you can visit Mark Twain National Forest, Montauk State Park, Ozark National Scenic Riverways, and the Laura Ingalls Wilder Historic Home and Museum to name a few. Roughly 40 minutes off I44 at rolla and 20 minutes ftom hwy 60 just 2 hours to branson and springfield. Walmart and fast food are just 10 minutes away. We are new to the area but there are other lakes, trails and stuff to do close. Lots of flea markets and antiques stores close by to go explore. Located on a small private lane there are a few quiet neighbors. There is a parking area to access trail by walk in, though we are trying to make it vehicle accessable. Our first spot is able to fit a small van camper or a pickup with a small box camper though its pretty tight. 4x4 may be needed. We appreciate your reviews on hipcamp and google. We are just getting Dotson acres started. Our motto is faith, family and farmstead. We just moved here this summer of 2025 from Tennessee so the property is a work in progress. I am a veteren of the Marine Corps and also a volunteer firefighter and we live and operate under christian values. Eventually to add to your camping experience, ive got plans for some off grid cabins and an earthship. In addition to camp spots, ai would like to make a little prayer area in the woods with some benches and a big cross. We hope to have a trail cut and cleared for a small hike soon. The plans for Dotson acres is to also sell chainsaw carvings and other things I weld, sculpt or create. Plant starts and garden produce, chicken eggs and any other creative ways we can find to help fund our dream of being together doing what we love instead of going to a normal job to make someone elses dreams come true. Not far away you can visit Mark Twain National Forest, Montauk State Park, Ozark National Scenic Riverways, and the Laura Ingalls Wilder Historic Home and Museum to name a few. Roughly 40 minutes off I44 at rolla and 20 minutes ftom hwy 60 just 2 hours to branson and springfield. Walmart and fast food are just 10 minutes away. We are new to the area but there are other lakes, trails and stuff to do close. Lots of flea markets and antiques stores close by to go explore. Located on a small private lane there are a few quiet neighbors. There is a parking area to access trail by walk in, though we are trying to make it vehicle accessable. Our first spot is able to fit a small van camper or a pickup with a small box camper though its pretty tight. 4x4 may be needed. We appreciate your reviews on hipcamp and google. Great location. We love this place but this is the first time we had any issues. The site next to us was empty and some people decided to use the fire pit and site to park and drink for each evening. It wasn't too much of a problem but we had to run the fan in our bedroom to block out the noise and conversation. Other than that it is still beautiful.

I enjoyed camping at Howler Bike Park. Jennifer is one of best hosts ever. The coffee is great and food is outstanding. I recommend the chilli burger. There is a little road noise from the highway, but the traffic is pretty sparce at night. I will be staying here again.

This site is nice. It does have a lake view, but if you have a traditional camper you will be facing a privacy fence when you first exit as there is another camping site in front of it. When we first arrived the 110 hook up for the electricity was not working. We were easily able to contact Matt and Laura, and they sent their handyman, Gary, within the hour. We were able to communicate with Gary prior to his arrival and deduced the breakers were bad. Gary was unable to secure new ones, and they had to be ordered, however, he did get an adapter for the other hookup, and we were able to have electricity for our entire stay. Everything went very smoothly and was handled very professionally. We would definitely stay at this site again.

This was out second time staying at this spot and it is very nice. Located on the lake. Everything worked well, site is nicely graveled and easy to enter/exit with a camper. The only thing that was a little bit different this time than last summer was that there were quite a few non leashed dogs roaming around. One continually tried to get into the trash can. They did not seem aggressive at all, but having small grandchildren running around made me a little bit nervous at times.

This was such a lovely camp site. Nestled on the outskirts of Springfield, just close enough to the city without the business. It’s a beautiful berry farm with so much to do. The site has loads of outdoor games and activities, a kitchen, a wonderful outdoor shower, and anything else you may need. We ended up extending another day because we enjoyed it so well. Would recommend completely. The owners of the property were also extremely kind and helpful with everything!!
