Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
Welcome to Sugar Island Farm, a 40 acre homestead offering micro, off-grid homestead camping sites. Each site is a minimum of 40’ × 100’, perfect for your garden or chickens. There is ample room for multiple vehicles or to park your bass boat. Sites must be kept clean and tidy, following all rules for a comfortable stay. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. No hunting is allowed. The property features many walking trails and connects directly to the Mark Twain National Forest. Excellent roads for walking, jogging, or biking are nearby, and great fishing and kayaking are less than 30 minutes away.Grow your micro homestead without the cost or hassle of buying land, from a big beautiful garden and reap the fruits of your labor. Build a chicken coop to have your own farm fresh eggs. Catch rain to water your small homestead and save money. When you’re done take a walk or short drive to cool down in a near by creek.
