Edgewater Beach Resort is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. There are 2 RV sites at Edgewater that are located just a few feet from the water's edge. Lake Taneycomo is a cold- water lake that is famous for trout fishing. The resort has 3 docks that you can fish off of. You can also fish anywhere along the water's edge. Each RV site has water, sewer, and electric hookups, wifi, a private picnic table, and a private firepit/ grill. The sites are separated by a privacy fence for the utmost privacy. The resort has boat rentals, a fish cleaning station, an outdoor pool that is open from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend, a playground, and a laundry room. I also have boat slips available to rent for $20 a night. The resort is next to Empire Park which has lots of fishing spots, a playground, a disc golf course, and walking trails. The resort is 16 miles from The Branson Landing. You can get there by car or boat.

*Lake Taneycomo will look different based on the seasons, weather, and the flow of water in the lake. It is common to see a large amount of duckweed in the lake, especially in the coves, during periods of high heat. It isn't attractive, but it is harmless. The maintenance crew at the resort constantly works to keep the coves looking as nice as possible, but it is a natural body of water, so there's only so much that can be done.*

Fish, Fish, Fish. This river is primed for fishing. You will have to bring your own boat, or float as I don't have good river bank fishing access. I added a small floating dock last year to fish or swim off of. There is a state park boat ramp a short distance away. The steps in the photos are plenty sturdy to tie boats to overnight. This river is fishable with flat bottom jet drive boats most of the spring and early summer and floatable year round. You can float to your campsite and relax instead of waiting in line at the boat ramp.
Also we are located about 13 miles from Crane Creek, A blue ribbon trout park. You can camp here and fish there.

This remote primitive campground is between Kingston and Compton, Arkansas. in the Ozark Mountains of the Boston plateau. The wooded 15 acres is nestled just above a scenic bluff looking south. You can set your tent on our grassy knoll or find a random spot anywhere under our hardwoods or pines. There is one designated gravel site pad for a mid size trailer.
The only roads to Spoken N’ Tru are gravel. I highly recommend taking the gravel route from Kingston. This particular gravel road is 5 miles. If you are pulling a camper this is definitely the best. There is another longer 8 mile option from 412 - south from Dryfork in between Marble and Ozark. The shortest route if from 103 but it has a deep creek crossing and don't recommended unless you have a good 4 wheel vehicle.
The best road to Ponca is County Road 1300 which takes you to Highway 43.
Please keep in mind that Spoke N’ Tru is a cozy but primitive camping site with no amenities so be ready to check your electronics before heading down our gravel roads. Lastly, please read amenity notes, especially regarding waste.

Our 11-site campground is situated on Arkansas Hwy 74E, approximately three miles east of Jasper and three miles west of the Hasty Cutoff for quick access to the Buffalo River! This is not a residential campground like so many in the area - it is exclusively for camping enthusiasts!
Being former camping enthusiasts ourselves, we built our RV park to accommodate rigs anywhere from a small popup to campers and motorhomes in excess of 40'. We also created each campsite to provide LOTS of personal space, with campsites being anywhere from 30 feet to 50 feet apart. Each site features a firepit, with small bundles of firewood available for purchase. Picnic tables are also available for your stay. We offer five campsites that are pull-through with full hookups, and six back-in sites that have water and electric only (a dump station is available for your convenience). Also featured is a BEAUTIFUL shower building; one side for the women, and one side for the men. Once you step inside and shut the door, you will have the beautifully tiled shower, toilet and lavatory to yourself until you are finished! Laundry facilities are also available on site - rather than charging exorbitant rates for using the washer and dryer like other RV parks or laundromats, we opted to make it available to our guests for a simple monetary donation. A lockbox is conveniently located in the laundry room for you to drop your donation into. Come stay with us and enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks and Buffalo River country! Be sure to head into Jasper to enjoy great food, too!

Located on 15 private acres, just shy of one mile from downtown Eureka, our retreat center offers platforms for tent camping, level small RV or Vanlife camping, or any other camper that will fit a space no bigger than 20ft. There are 3 spots but we are allow 1 camper per night unless requested and part of a group.
The property is down a dirt road just outside of town, wooded, peaceful, and features many hiking trails. Take a loop around the labyrinth, walk the property, or sign up for classes at the studio.
Fire Om Earth Retreat Center is a Botanical Sanctuary of Medicinal Herbal Plants and the Home of Skydancer Apothecary. We are on the register for United Plant Savers and offer classes in Herbal Studies and Clay.
Additional hiking and mountain biking trails are just 1/8 mile down the road, or take a short drive to Lake Leather Wood for more outdoor adventures. SUP Outfitters has mountain bikes for rent for 1/2 day or full day and can be delivered.

This remote primitive campground is between Kingston and Compton, Arkansas. in the Ozark Mountains of the Boston plateau. The wooded 15 acres is nestled just above a scenic bluff looking south. You can set your tent on our grassy knoll or find a random spot anywhere under our hardwoods or pines. There is one designated gravel site pad for a mid size trailer.
The only roads to Spoken N’ Tru are gravel. I highly recommend taking the gravel route from Kingston. This particular gravel road is 5 miles. If you are pulling a camper this is definitely the best. There is another longer 8 mile option from 412 - south from Dryfork in between Marble and Ozark. The shortest route if from 103 but it has a deep creek crossing and don't recommended unless you have a good 4 wheel vehicle.
The best road to Ponca is County Road 1300 which takes you to Highway 43.
Please keep in mind that Spoke N’ Tru is a cozy but primitive camping site with no amenities so be ready to check your electronics before heading down our gravel roads. Lastly, please read amenity notes, especially regarding waste.

Our 11-site campground is situated on Arkansas Hwy 74E, approximately three miles east of Jasper and three miles west of the Hasty Cutoff for quick access to the Buffalo River! This is not a residential campground like so many in the area - it is exclusively for camping enthusiasts!
Being former camping enthusiasts ourselves, we built our RV park to accommodate rigs anywhere from a small popup to campers and motorhomes in excess of 40'. We also created each campsite to provide LOTS of personal space, with campsites being anywhere from 30 feet to 50 feet apart. Each site features a firepit, with small bundles of firewood available for purchase. Picnic tables are also available for your stay. We offer five campsites that are pull-through with full hookups, and six back-in sites that have water and electric only (a dump station is available for your convenience). Also featured is a BEAUTIFUL shower building; one side for the women, and one side for the men. Once you step inside and shut the door, you will have the beautifully tiled shower, toilet and lavatory to yourself until you are finished! Laundry facilities are also available on site - rather than charging exorbitant rates for using the washer and dryer like other RV parks or laundromats, we opted to make it available to our guests for a simple monetary donation. A lockbox is conveniently located in the laundry room for you to drop your donation into. Come stay with us and enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks and Buffalo River country! Be sure to head into Jasper to enjoy great food, too!

This land was purchased in the early 70's as a future family home site. It was never developed. It has been used by family and friends for various holidays and just camp outs. You can spend the day swimming with the locals at the Blue Hole or floating the Buffalo from several different access points. This is a stunningly beautiful campsite that is well loved and taken care of. If you are looking for a serene place to unwind and enjoy nature, you won’t be disappointed. The site is safe, secure, and tucked away on top of a mountain. I felt quite at a home as a solo female traveler. The campsite is beautifully treed with evergreens providing privacy, shade, and gorgeous show of dancing light and shadow. The rock formation and cliff edge opens up to a spectacular valley view. The cliff’s southern exposure provides an opportunity for watching the sunrise to the left and the sunset to the east. This is also the perfect spot to warm a solar camp shower, charge solar panel units, or just warming yourself on the rock’s edge. I can’t wait to come back. It was magical.

Great location. We love this place but this is the first time we had any issues. The site next to us was empty and some people decided to use the fire pit and site to park and drink for each evening. It wasn't too much of a problem but we had to run the fan in our bedroom to block out the noise and conversation. Other than that it is still beautiful.

Shane and Debra have done a fantastic job with their campground. From the immaculate bathhouses to the most level RV site I’ve ever set up on with full hookups, it was all great! The scenery was nice and we were able to relax between excursions. I highly recommend Flatwoods as a base camp for Jasper and the upper Buffalo River.

It was a great place to park our Airstream BC! Communication was great and the host was friendly when he came by to check on us in the evening. Restrooms are well-lit and conveniently located in the middle of all the sites as is the covered pavilion. It is a small park and all of the sites are in one loop with sites 1-7 being opposite of the main road, sites 8-11 along the back of the property (backed by the most trees) and 12+ are on the same side as the main road. We stayed in 12 which was good, but next time I’ll choose 8-11 to lessen road noise and provide a prettier view. Overall a great stay, we will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Flatwoods RV park site 4. Only 3 miles East of Jasper, easy to find and pull into , nice clean grounds, easy hookups. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and beautiful!! Our only issue were the floors. They are beautiful but very slippery when wet.

This RV camp is a jewel tucked into the Arkansas mountains. It is only three miles from the town of Jasper and a nice grocery store so you don’t have to drive far for supplies. Also no long dirt road to maneuver - it’s right on a tar road that is not busy so still very quiet. The sites are spacious. There are onsite bathrooms that you wish were in your house they are so nice and so clean. There is also laundry facilities on site which is very handy. Shane and Debbie are really thoughtful people who we met and spent some time with on a couple of occasions. If you are looking for an RV camp spot near Jasper you won’t do better. I Highly recommend it.
